5-3 wings. hossa 2, huds 1, leino 1, dats 1, crosby ejected for pissing his pants while on the ice after dats dekes the s*** outta him.

how is he more proven? he played through the playoffs and looked good every game he played. as i recall he had 1 or no points in the playoffs, which is not a mindblowing omg this guy is amazing stat, but he rarely if ever screwed up. he was solid, fast, and gave our stars a breather without having to worry about kopecky's lazy skating and terrible hands to ruin all their hard work.

there was an intersting piece on redwings live (or recap) this morning about why players like to stay with the wings, and the way managemnt cares about players and their families.

does anyone know where to find that picture of of a bunch of the wings wearing sunglasses and posing infront of the team plane? i've been looking through the wings photo galleries and not having any luck.

kopecky has no skill at all! ok thats a little bit of an exageration. all the guys who suck now though, malts mac draps (still kinda ok), they were way better than kopecky when they were his age. kopecky doesn;t work with this system and but if it keeps hossa around well.......

i feel for the guy. he played a lot of great games for us. he's not a playoff goaltender but thats the way it goes. the blues are a s***ty team and i feel bad for any goalie who ends up there and has to try to carry that team.

kopecky has 9 points in 49 games lebda has 11 in 43 lilja has 11 in 47 leino has 2 in 2 (82 points a season right there :banana:) and helm hasn't gotten his shot...he just has a stanley cup ring

i cheer for the wings, have since i was a kid, and i want them to win, and when they are not winning i want to know why. its not just that they are losing. its how they are losing. the powerplay doesn't move the puck the way it usually does, aka not finding open backdoors, players standing around. there are def some issues with this team. yes ur missing 40 points worth of scoring today, but we destroyed jose last season when he was with the avs. the other teams aren;t intimidated anymore, and they want to beat the wings that much more now that they know they can. i also feel like lids is showing his age. but who knowsmaybe hossa will ***** them all out and get them back on track. all i know is the goaltending looks like crap, the d looks like crap, and our once red hot offense is lukewarm at best

leino is the only good thing that came out of that game
