ok seriously, the only reason nick couldn't get up was he took a good protion of that hit too the head. his legs were moving fine once he got up. at most he'll miss one game, and i doubt that. man people on here are such pessimists!

i don't expect mac to be a 1st of 2nd liner. that said, if babcock and holland decide to to make a mojor move at the tdl, then why the hell wouldn't you sign him? he'd come cheap and its not like you'd be playing him every game. a little depth couldn't hurt this team. i think everyone who likes the mac comeback idea, knows he's not the same player he was 10 years ago. but he def has a better scoring touch than drake, ellis, and kopecky. (bet i get slammed for that comment)

does anyone know if the wings can bring mccarty up for some of these games? or does his tryout contract with the griffins prevent him from playing for the wings until he's actually signed? If they can bring him up, they really should. he could be critical in breaking out of the slump.

this slump was bound to happen! with how amazing they've played all season, you knew it would catch up to them eventually. yah it sucks now, but things will change soon. i believe rafalski is back tonight and kroner on friday. that should def make a difference, especialy on the powerplay. keep wearing the winged wheel with pride!

i like hudler, but if he can't pick things up then i think you need to look for another option. I like the idea of bringing mccarty up, but i think trading hudler and sammy (cause he's an absolute retard with the puck) and a draft pick for a solid 2nd line scorer needs to be done. dats, z, homer and cleary can't win a cup by themselves.

you can't blame ozzie for all those goals last night. the d was way out of postion. as long as he can bounce back from this minor slide, i've got no worries. a little pissed off, but not worried.

I hate forsberg and blake. they were both avs from back in the day and we don't need that kind of crap on our team. there are some players that just should not be given the opportunity to wear the winged wheel. i was pissed about bertuzzi last year, so i'm glad forsberg doesn't want to come here. can you imagine him and mccarty (assuming he comes back) playing togeather? forsberg would have thrown a kink into the team chem as the older wings likely still hold a grudge against all those guys.

i was listening to some detroit sports program last week and they said that McCarty had signed a 25 game tryout with grand rapids. He'd be a nice pick up for the playoffs w/o having to spend much money at all.
