I understand all that but this year is far different. It was far closer to an even split then during the regular season. Babs has made it pretty apparent that Howard is the go to guy. Obviously it could change, but if things stay how they are, well, as babs says, they're in the winning business and one goalie is giving them a chance to win, so that's who plays.

I see people with the fake winter classic jerseys at games all the time and they are reallllly obvious. They look like crap and stand out like a sore thumb, well atleast to me, I guess some people probabaly don't notice anything, but I think they are quite ugly in person.

They are FANTASTIC. I've gotten a franzen jersey and a datysuk winter classic jersey from them. They also did the customization for my 1984 Campbell Conference all star jersey (stevy y) and right now they are in the process of customizing my new team sweden jersey with zetterberg, i think I'll get it right in time for the olympics.

I don't think flip's been doing bad. I just think he needs to think a little quicker as what to do with the puck. It always eems, he walks in, makes a great move and instead of passing it to an open guy or shooting it, he just kind of hangs on to it and eventually loses it. If he could just finish his plays, he'd be super effective.

I don't know why howard is catchin' slack tonight. The first goal was just totally bizarre, the second goal he had his leg out to make the save and it would of hit his pad but zetterberg tipped it over to the side which then hit havlat's skate and went in. The third goal is the only goal that was really a straight shot and even that was off a play that the puck popped up in the air and came down right to the wild player in the slot, our d shouln't have let him get such a good hsot, right when he caught the puck he shoud of basically been tackled.

I like the no smoking, drinking bit and how he refers to howard as the young goalie.

yah he was playing fantastic. Last I saw, I remember him saying he had another shot I believe and he hadn't felt that good in a while.

man, I didn't get to see the OT or shootout because my dvr stopped recording at the scheduled time of the games end but I thought the team looked great and can only imagine adding mule and kronner and holmer back in. That was definitley one of the more exciting games I've watched this year.

i think it wpould be too flawed. Something would have to be placed inside the puck for it to work, which one would raise costs, two would change the dynamic of the puck. If it just signaled when something went across then every time the goalie's pads, stick or a player flying into the net went over it, it would think its a goal. Plus there's the whole thing of the puck having to completely cross the line, so lets say they put something in the puck to trigger the goal line, it would go off simply when the puck is ON the goal line, rather than over.

i'm pretty sure it went in, but yeah rules are the rules and no angle showed it crossing the line, so it should have not counted.

yeah when I went to the practice in LA, mule looked pretty good considering the circumstances. He by no way looked like someone who would not be able to play untill march.
