I think there's still a chance. Everyone is saying L.A. and minny and everythign are going to be after him, if he REALLY does want a cup, he will take less money and stay with the wings. Testing the market doesn't mean he is leaving for sure obviously, he's just looking at other offers.

Yah I've re-gained a little optimism because I thought if he wasn't gonna sign, they would of let him go already as well. Who knows? they could have a deal in place or atleast an agreement and they are just working down to the wire to get the final numbers figured out. I really hope we can keep him.

you know...I don't agree that we are champions but I think next season other teams will still get us to play us like we are. We had a target on our back the whole year after winning and I think it'll still be there, even more so then on the penguins regardless of who won because I still feel as though even after losing, Detroit will be regarded as the best team in the league still.

I think the fans screaming after every contestant are fake. It seems to be the same voices every time. I think they are staged. Not that fans don't cheer or anything but just listen...

I'm perfectly fine with 30 and 81. Though, I will admit that the Oz scared the s*** out of me this season but after these playoffs, I wil never doubt him again. He can suck all he wants through 82 if he plays the 2nd season like he has the last 2 seasons. As for Hossa, yah he had a rough post season but you know what? There are games this season where we seemed to be down and out and he put the team on his back and changed the game's fate. For me, he is a Red Wing and until that changes, I am happy as hell to have him here and believe that if he re-signs, he will be even better next season/especially playoffs.

haha I'm an idiot because I realize the Red Wings lost the cup, not Hossa. Good call. when a team shows up for less than ten minutes in a game 7 of the SCF, that is a pathetic team display, nothing you can pin on one player. That's the end of the story. Grow up.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be either. I think it's for a couple reasons too... 1. When we didn't win game 6, I was pretty uneasy about this game to begin with, knew it could go either way. 2. Seeing the team dial in alot of this series, especially this game, i think took some of my emotions out of it. Oh yah and I was pretty much preparing for it since the second pitts goal went in. I was pretty stunned and upset then, by the end though, I had pretty much accepted it I guess.

Everyone just feels comfortable finding him as the scapegoat because he most likely won't be here next season. I have no one bad thing to say about him that I can't say about most players on the team and in the end, I enjoyed having the hoss this season. You know, Pavs wasn't always the best playoff performer either and I don't care who you are, him playing against the pens had to be pretty harsh on his mind. I would love to see him back but do not think we will, unfortunately.

I watched Malkin get the Conn Smythe but I changed the channel afterwards because I could not stomach seeing Bettman giving the cup to Crosby. Here's to next season... hope it has a better outcome.
