Not sure if you watched this season, but when the puck comes off the stick of Marian Hossa, that is quite often the case.

great play by pavs to get that to homie. I love whent he hoss does his celebrations, nothing crazy but it's nice to see some excitement.

perfect isn't even in the question for ozzy, usually we have to HOPE he atleast plays good this season.

hahahaha I like the NBC announcing, they show emotion without being annoying. Doc just has a good hockey voice in my opinion. Certain commentators voices just bother me, one coming to mind mostly is the sharks, just a weird tone to the main guy's voice, it drives me crazy.

atleast it was of a fluke play, though the fluke play was ozzie's fault but I agree, there have been much worse. Either way though, bad play on ozzie's part, he really is terrible handling the puck.

I've been far more impressed with Hoss than Hank this season but I agree about pavs. I don't think there are many players in the league at his caliber though. Though I must admit, unless he is playing with pavs(Which seems to make everyone better) I don't think Hoss fits the team too well. I liked the 81/51/21 line earlier this season but Hoss and Hank don't mesh at all and Hoss and Mule aren't the greatest together either. I think that is why Babs split pavs and hank up again, because mule and z are great together and pavs and hoss are as well.

I wish we could but I have a feeling he isn't returning this season. It seems more serious than they are letting out.

I only got to watch the first period and a little of the second because of work, seems to have been quite the dissapointment but DAMN was Mule's goal awesome.

I ddn't think it was as bad of a period as you are all making it seem. Neither team really has momentum. Unfortunately, alot of our shots are getting blocked, which is the reason for both the being outshot and not having great scoring chances. I gotta say though, I know there was the excuse before, he had his contract on his mind, but now Mr. 12 years is still failing to impress game in and game out lately(aside from the shorty the other night) but he seems to lose control of the puck alot, it's quite odd actually, it just won't stay on his stick. And as for stuart being invisible, maybe that's a good thing because half the time, you guys only notice him when you get the chance to tear him apart after a mistake.

I hate to say this because I really don't wanna see him go, but as I was watching this game today I was thinkin' (As I believe I've seen mentioned here numerous times) that we should let the hoss walk, sign the mule for a decent price and go after a good goalie for like 5 million a year or so. I'm not exactly sure what will be out there but I really think it is going to be necessary after this season. I know I have see people mention luongo and I think they said he is under contract till the next season...does he have a NTC though? I can't recall if I have seen that or not. Anyhow, it was painful watching that loss today, no reason we should of let it slip away, the third goal Ozzy let in pretty much made me lose all hope that he can be our starter in the playoffs. I think we need to let conklin start somewhere between 3-5 out of the last 6 to make sure he is ready in case he ends up being the go to guy.

I don't know how anyone is saying that should of been a goal. Even if it hit a predator on the way in, it was a kicking motion towards the net that made the puck go forward.

yah Lids is worryin' me. If you can't rely on him defensively, I don't know who you can.

I don't want to get into a goalie war here, and yes I agree the defense has been bad and both goalies have had bad games..but Ozzy hasn't had too man good games aside from that stretch like a week ago or so.

I don't understand why we keep trying to pass to players who ae already covered by the islanders. It's almost a guaranteed giveaway everytime.

Oh yah, and if SJ does actually lose tonight, DAMN is it close. It will be even in games played and points. Detroit will have the edge just for tonight but after tha it's an eight game race to the finish., damn this is an exciting time of year and it's not even playoffs yet.
