I think my favorite part of that whole sequence is when Shanny sees Roy coming and just jumos and tackles him. Man, how I miss those days, I was only about 11 years old but I remember it like it was yesterday.

yah its kinda cool. All of the sudden a Wings/Ducks 1st round is possible and my girlfriends uncle has season seats at the pond, which would mean free playoff tickets!

no, it's part of the cba i think. I don't know the exact details, but it is called a "Tagging rule", somehting to do with the amount of money tied up for the following season...Holland has talked about it a few times.

As much as I love to see tootoo get his ass beat, that was pretty cheap, not so much punches as they were forearms to the face which means he was getting him with the edge of his elbow pads, either way though, good to see.

Hockeytown is a marketing tool, always has been, always will be. It's just that other cities and teams think it is something that can be won and defended like the cup. As for attendance, are you like 12 and oblivious to the economic problems this country is having and Detroit being one of the hardest hit?

you're right he didn't touch him that much but if you've ever played hockey before you'd know that when someone pushes down on the back of your pants like that, it takes you right down to your ass and that's exactly what happened.

wow dude, chill out. no where in that post did he say nick has been s***, YOU said that. He merely stated the truth. If he was to win the Norris again, he would have to have quite an unreal last part of this season. It doesn't mean he hasn't been good or great though, calm down.

Good fight. Jansen won pretty obviously in my opinion, he got some really good bombs in there, though downey got a few good shots as well.

yeah seriosuly, habs are playing a physical game and it has the sharks a little off of theirs. Laroque kicked the s*** out of shelley as well and that seemed to start the onslaught.
