I agree, but we have head plenty of them this season already (though many of them have turned out to be wins somehow), remember, the season didn't start with 6 or 7 games ago.

Good for Conks. I enjoy watching him play. I see it as the same situaon as last year, the back up who knows he is perfectly competent so tries to, and often does outshine the starter. I mean that in no way as a dig against Ozzy, because he was in that situation last year with Dom ahead of him and it obviously led to great things in the end.

and once he left the net and he had it in between his torso and arm, he couldn't cover it? That's what I don't get. Ozzie made some HUGE saves tonight and kept us in the game but at the same time gave up some HUGE rebounds and was pretty bad position wise, though the whole team was so I'm not sayin it's ozzie's fault by any means, I just don't think he deserves the praise he s getting. The third goal I believe it was? the puck was in the back of the net and he was still hugging his post, that's ridiculous. The whole team was pretty terrible tonight aside from pavs, though I saw one pretty bad turnover from him as well, but it didn't end up costing us.

yah, if bobby orr's goal is "the goal" with his dramatic dive, then that is "the dive". That was beyond ridiculous...though Ozzie did nail him in the mouth and those goalie sticks are nothing of the lightweight variety, he busted him open pretty good it looked like. But seriously, throwing your gloves off and jumping through the air? come on...

I love ozzy and all, but I doubt he'll make it to the HOF and IF he does, it will take many years of consideration for it to actually happen, it won't be anything quick. Dom will be in probably as soon as he can be once he decides to actually retire(which seems to be official this time, atleast from the NHL).

As much as I'd love to keep Hoss, I'd rather not tear apart our Stanley Cup Championship team to do it.

I'm gonna agree with the "yzerman wants his conn smythe back". I always thought Stevy shoulda won it that year as well and if he hadn't won in 1998 already, I bet he would have got it.

yah redmond gets on my nerves. One: he is too much of a homer sometimes, two: he never stops complaining about anything. Everyone understands that he doesn't like how refs call the game but his constant moaning about it just puts a damper on the whole broadcast. It's not the 1970's anymore, or even the 1990's so stop expecting the refs to call the game as if it were.

yah isn't that terrible? Players score a meaningful goal that they'll remember for years and they can't even have it. Granted its for charity but if the player wants it, he should be able to have it.

why does everyone say "good, they can get some rest" etc etc. The all star game is no hard labor. As much of a joke as everyone looks at it as, alot of the players think it's an honor to go and enjoy the experience. Personally, I like seeing our guys go to the game. As rigged as it may be and as much of a publicity stunt as it is, it's really not as bad of an event as you all make it seem to be. Sure it could be put together a little better, but it is still a traditional game played (almost) every year in the nhl.

as for the flip and crosby goals. I never understand why people think goals where someone falls or dives through the air AFTER they shoot are really that great. It's the same with bobby orr's "the goal".

I think the team that wins the winter classic each year should play again host a new team the next year. If a team wins 10 years in a row, so be it.

ah f*** totally forgot about that, yah raffy got the game winner. oh well, like you said, definitley the prettiest goal. It was the standout play of the game for me.
