yah i was bummed about not seeing franzen when i go to the game tonight but this partly makes up for it, this will be fun.

Yah it really sucks too because we are all starting to really like how Hossa is clicking with the team now and s*** like this makes it quite apparent that having him here more than this season is going to be near impossible.

I'm so sick of the visor excuse. Being out of position has nothing to do with a visor. Maybe if he mishandles a pass or something, you can argue that the visor was a distraction but when there is a guy sitting in the slot and lids is at the goal post looking at him, the absence of s visor will do absolutely nothing.

that sucks but as stated earlier, atleast its the beginning of the season Hopefully he'll be back late november or maybe with a speedy recovery, mid november. I was totally looking forward to seeing him tomorrow night because we have glass seats behind the kings net where the wings shoot twice and I was totally pumped to see him grinding along the boards and tearing it up like the beast he is. Too bad, but it will be great seeing the Hoss live for the first time, so I guess it's a little give and take.

I called and they said no so my guess is that they will just have a morning skate at staples the day of the game. You can try calling disney ice(i don't know if it's still called that) as well as they could possibly practice in anaheim on tuesday but I dont know if they let the practices open to the public anyhow.

I'm hoping mule's knee isn't too serious, he wasn't limping too bad once he got up, so I think he'll be okay.

while I agree, last night wasn't that bad because one of the goals was 5 on 3, there's not a whole lot you can do there so that on wasn't just the result of sloppy playing, but yah overalll, the team just needs to start playing 60 minutes again but they had that problem alot last season as well and even during the playoffs at times, so really it's nothing extremely new when you think about it. I'm sure things will only get better and better over time, our offense seems to be clicking now so our d should be next.

yah I'll be there too and would love to see him back in the lineup.

I think the team played well overall. To me, the offense is looking good but D sill needs some work. They jus tare't as sharp as they should be. Why people are saying pavs needs to pick it up, I don't know, I thought he was great out there tonight. I think him and the hoss are starting to click finally. What a great goal by franzen for became the GW.

I don't think it was a fluke at all. I think him getting confidence by playing with pavs and hank last year just woke up the sleeping giant, now he is a force to be reckoned with. I say he can get more than 60 points to be honest, he might surprise the hell out of everyone.

please tell me you're kidding? I understand that he is a good leader in the dressing room and all and knows how to keep people's heads high, but to call him the heart and soul of this team is about as accurate as a prediction of Tampa Bay or L.A. winning the cup. I love Mac for all he's done in the past but that's what it is, the past.

visors are a pain in the ass. In the league I'm playin in now, we HAVE to atleast have a half shield, so I wear just the typical clear visor. And between scratches and fogginh up, etc, I usually skate around with my helmet pulled up so the visor is above my eyes.

Well babs didn't seem happy on the bench tonight with the team's effort so I'm expecting to see some line changes for the next game...IF hank is back, I predict... ZDH Hossa-Flip-Mule Sammy-Cleary-Huds Drapes-Maltby-kopecky I hope Z is back, because we need the euro twins back together.
