yeah I've always found that interesting with him. I guess he just knows when to shoot it and where to put it so well that it makes up for any lack of power compared to other players.

Team looked great today. I'm ok with a game being close if it's because of power play goals, not a lot you can do with those sometimes, especially the 5on3. But even strength and on their own PPs, they looked killer. Howie has been playing great, too.

I think Doc gets more crap than he should simply because he is paired with edzo. He's really not that bad. Plus I'll gladly put up with them for how amazing of an HD feed NBC has.

I think Pavs will be a monster. I think he has played his best hockey we have seen this season. Who knows where he would have ended up points wise if not for the injuries. He makes opposing players look like beer league players more so than ever. It's insane.

I understand the call because his arm came up, so on the ice, the ref saw a head hit but I doubt there will be a suspension because the contact was with the middle of the body and his army just came up during the hit. It wasn't a hit targeted to the head, he didn't go in with his arm up, it just came up as part of the velocity of his body making contact with johnson's. I'd be VERY surprised if there was a suspension... with that being said though, I have a feeling we are going to have a BIG problem if Kronner hits like he normally does once the playoffs start.

I agree, the few times he's played lately, he has looked stronger than Howard. People are acting like hasek in his prime just got injured, In my opinion, it's not much of a drop off, if any at this point.

I think he's been one of the better players out there the last two games. He showed some good grit tonight even, using his body. It's hard to say because of his injury we haven't got a good sample of what he can do, so I'll agree with seeing how he does in the playoffs to make judgment.

No, we just don't spend much money on our goalies, so they are never going to be amazing. We had Hasek, that was our big deal of a goalie but age caught up with him unfortunately. When you are paying a goalie a couple million, you aren't going to get a Luongo, Brodeur or anything of that nature.

I know how you feel. I got glass seats for a game at the Joe(I live in California) in january against the hawks. I think it was the day I bought the tickets that Pavs broke his hand, then Cleary and Holmer went down after. Flip ended up having the flu that game. I swear, I felt like I was watching the griffins.

I don't get why people need to know. With some of the idiots in the league, the team releases "datsyuk out with sore ankle", they hear "hit datsyuk in the ankle when he comes back". This close to playoffs, you don't want anyone knowing any possible weak spots.

I don't expect them to lose 9 of their last 13, which is basically what they'd have to do to stay under 100. All they need is 5 wins.

It's funny as disappointed as I've been with him in the recent past(though the little he has played this season has been much better), I still get excited to hear he's coming back. Also...13 games left? damn, playoffs are coming up quick.
