that was a dumb call.

if 150 dollars is worth watching pretty much every game from every team you wish during the entire season, then yeah. I get it every year and barely miss any wings games unless I'm working, going out, etc, but I always have the option, it's great.

I didn't think that was that bad of a game really. I think some of you just watch the scoreboard more than the game itself. "Oh we lost? we played terrible! helm scored? everyone but helm sucked tonight!" Helm did nothing more than anyone else aside from his weak goal that was more of a bad goal let in by quick than a good goal scored by helm.

Part of me wants to say it's just a fast paced game and s*** happens but the more I watch it, it looks like he looks up, see's the bar and continues into it. Also, I think the most incriminating part of it, is that his hand stayed behind the guys head until his face was smashed into the bar. If he was just hitting him, his hand wouldn't be behind the guys head.

I really didn't think they played that bad as a whole, only the power play was atrocious. Also, why are people bitching about the penalty shot? He hooked his hand when he had a clear breakaway, whether he dove or not after the fact, the hook was still there and prevented him from getting a good shot off.

just got home, what a fun game! And actually, I know everyone here's bitching about the meltdown at the end but everyone at the arena was pretty much laughing about it. We saw one section of wings fan jumping up and down like the Wings scored when the kings did and even the Kings fans were having fun with it and joking around. I haven't had that much fun at a hockey game in a long time. and I just found this photo..That's me and my chick in the far left (me wearing the Datsyuk Western All Star jersey)

I think no trades is a good idea. Our team just needs to strengthen mentally, not skill wise. When they play their best, they are unstoppable. I don't see anyone that we can afford coming in and making much of a difference. Hudler has been great, why would we trade him? because he sucked the first half of the season? I find it so odd how many people want trades made just because it's the deadline and other teams are doing it. We're 2nd in the west, we're doing pretty good.

I miss all the old ESPN guys. Everything about hockey in the 90's was so much fun.

thanks for posting that, I just bought it, I figure I can get the stains out, or bleached to where they don't look as bad and then get it customized and after it's all said and done it'll cost like half the price a normal 75th customized would.

I just went out from california for a game and stayed at the westin book cadillac. It was very nice and very classy. The room service food was really good as well and they had a free fitness center which was really nice.

I think it'd be a really entertaining game if they'd just play a little more defense. Like use the body but not full checking, kind of like adult league hockey or roller hockey. There's still contact but no checking. I think once Team Lids went down 4-0, they started trying harder which in turn made it more of a hockey game than it started as.

I met Vladdy as well (actually, pretty much the whole team) out here in 96 I believe it was at the Forum after playing the Kings. They were all in the forum club (bar) after the game. Vladdy was one of the nicest hockey player I had ever met.

yeah if said person wasn't working the whole year and then decided to sign a contract to work with another company, but by some other circumstance he was told he had to work for a company he never had any intentions of working for.

Not surprised at much of it..though I would have though for smartest player, Lids may have been at the top. That's one of the main things you always hear about him.
