You know I get pissed off, and yell at my tv, like a lot of watchers on here. I know it seems often and one sided. But again, these referees and linesmen do a good job overall. It's got to be overwhelming at times with so much going on at once. Their covering the puck as well as the game away from it. It's a tough job to get it right every second of every game. They are human. Except McGeough, I don't what he is! It's not going to change anytime soon. The hooking, the interference, holding, and slashing are going to be constants in the game. They're not going anywhere, anytime soon. The league uses these minor penalties to their advantage to help showcase the superstar puckhandler. If you dont abide, be prepared for to go on the PK.

Living where I do, snowblowers aren't a part of my daily life throughout winter, but if I am an athlete under contract making millions, somebody is getting paid to do this type of work for me! not quite as boring as I thought it would be. Between headshots into the boards, Canuck player delivered a hit after leaving his feet about eighteen inches off the ice. And whats funny is the guys calling the game on the Canucks feed on tv, were like "I dont think he left his feet, well maybe a little bit." Burrows was like airborn. The third period has been pretty calm.

I too would like to see some of the old franchises like the Jets, Whalers, Northstars, and Nordiques jersies to make an appearance from time to time. But I think a few of the teams in the league have done a good job shedding some of their colors and logos. The top of my list is probably the Canucks, going from that yellow and black to their current colors. I thought that jersey and logo was just hideous. Also NJ getting rid of that Christmas color jersey, and Phoenix with their Christmas tree looking logo. But I would like to see the current Kings jersey go away, and go back to the black jersies. Not a real fan of their third jersey. I like this one.

I bought the Winter Classic jersey already. It doesn't get released to be shipped til Dec. 20th. But I just got it with Lidstrom, 5, and a C. So your trying to get the jersey without a current Wings player? You can always buy one from shopnhl.com blank, and then take it somewhere to have another name stitched in. I know there is someone local here in SoCal, but someone local to you, I would have no idea. Will someone please make a list of all the available goalies that Detroit could make a trade for? The goalie would have to fit in the pay structure and be better than what we already have. As well as who and what we have to give for our new savior in goal?

On xm 204 this morning, they had the owner, or one of the owners of the Capitals on the show. They brought up the Avery subject. He made a good suggestion. Have the Dallas Stars and Avery's agent make a deal to keep him in the Dallas organization, but send his ass to Russia. And figure out if this guy wants to be a hockey player or a circus clown. If he goes and playes there, it could save his career for future considerations from other tams in this league. If he refuses, good luck finding anyone who wants him. I think it's actually a pretty good suggestion. I really doubt that would ever happen though.

Thats cool. I sat glass last January at the Joe, when they played the Wild. Sometimes I will get a glass seat in Anaheim, that way I can get my red jersey on tv for a lot of the game! lol.

I guess that is just one of those cool things that happens in your life, that you will never forget. You couldn't have planned an encounter any better. Living here in SoCal, and for as many people that live here, I would think the star sightings would be few and far between. But I always seem to run into people who are employed in the entertainment industry. My son actually goes to school with a kid that was on Desperate Housewives for quite awhile. They are shooting a movie in a neighborhood behind mine, in this old house right now. It's everywhere. Sometimes it's almost a pain in the ass, cause they shut down streets and whatever else, when they are shooting. But I would much rather run into a player like Datsyuk and have a conversation. Congrats IceMunkee.

I guess we wouldn't be normal fans, if we don't stress out on the fact that our goalie isn't playing like we know he can. We all know he is a professional. We all know what he is capable of doing. I scream at the tv like everyone else, when something gets by or whatever. I have trust in the ownership, KH, Babs, and the rest of the professionals that run this machine of a hockey team. But as a fan of this team for 25 years now, I think back at some of the teams in the eighties. Fans would have given their first born child for a team with this kind of talent and depth we have this season. Just be glad we have Ozzie. Were lucky we dont have Turco blowing it all for us!

Dang. How many goalies are out right now due to injury? Luongo, Sanford, DiPietro, Brodeur. Is Fleury still out? Nabokov, Vokoun, and Legace were hurt earlier on as well. Turco might as well be hurt, the way he is playing.

so the lague will hand out a 6-10 game suspension for referring to Dion Phaneuf getting his sloppy seconds? And guys are getting hit in the head and in the numbers causing injury, and they get 2-3 games? Well that makes absolutely perfect sense! nhl :battle:
