I love how these threads start over frustration of losing games. People on here try to pin the whole loss over Cheli making mistakes. There were many other aspects of why these games have been lost. Whether you want to pin them on a waved off goal or a dumb penalty taken, or just not converting on quality chances. It's a team sport, it takes a whole team to win it and to lose it. Awfully critical here!

1. Sticking his stick out and tripping Filppula as he skated near Turco. 2. hitting Holmstrom repeatedly in the back of the head. (btw, I watched the ducks/stars series, and Turco is the dirtiest goalie I have ever watched, and I have been watching hockey for nearly 30 years) There are so many little things you guys do to instigate a fight. Because when real competitors lose, some have a tendency to not handle it well. Thats when they swing their sticks like baseball bats, over a simple jab! Simple. Give me a break.

I think that Turco hates playoff beards. And by the second round he starts getting real itchy. He cant hardly control his itching now that they are in the WCF. He's just like "f*** this goaltending s***, I just want to shave this crap off my face." hence the casual lean on the goal post! Simple I tell ya!

I was pretty sad the day Schneider left. Bertuzzi, I could care less about. He was a waste, and a learning experience for Holland. Would I want Scneider back? No. I would take Rafalski over Scheider any day now. I love our defensive core now. Lids, Rafalski, Stuart, and Kronwall. I have always been a Cheli fan, and imo he's always welcome. Is he happy? If he wasn't he wouldn't be playing. Here is a player that is breaking longevity records, playing for a great, extremely sucessfull organization, with a bunch of fans that love him. How could he not be happy? Lilja, well. Thats a whole different thread.

Okay so how much was Turco fined! Or how long was he suspended for? Ohhhh wait. Thats right. Everyone is to busy kissing Turco's ass. They couldn't possibly see him hit Holmstrom repeatedly in the head and up end Flip like he did. Then again, how could they? It's impossible to make a call like that, when their heads are so far up Turco's colon. Tonight is going to be a blood bath, and I can't wait!

The only thing I can think of, is total frustration. I think he was looking to get his frustration out against a couple of Red Wing players, caught the stick of Ozzie, and was in meltdown mode. I sometimes forget these guys are hardcore competitive, and have a hard time losing. These guys came in to Detroit believing they were the top dog by beating Anaheim and San Jose. Now they are like wtf, what happened. Damn the Wings are good. I honestly believe that the Stars feel like they cant beat us. Look at the frustration all game by Turco. We were only up by 1. Its not like he stunk up the place like the other night. We were just winning all the battles, while they were taking penalties and not executing on them. Pur frustration I believe is the culpret!

I want to see McCarty go with Ott next game. This whole situation reminds me of last years series against Calgary, when Franzen was hit by McLennon.

Absolutely. He needs to be suspended. You cant just swing your stick like that and not expect to receive a punishment. If the league feels Ozzie deliberatly stuck his stick out, then at most they might consider a lighter punishment. I dont know. I guess we will see.

Good article, thanks. I wish the article was longer, wanted to hear more about his trip in California. Yeah he seemed to be taking a few jabs at NJ. I believe he initially was content on being there. I was doing cartwheels when the Wings signed him. He is such a solid defensemen.
