Hey I got an idea: Why don't we just let this thread die and/or delete it all together. I can hardly believe the negativity over a loss in the playoffs. Did everyone think we would play perfect every game and not make mistakes? Lets live in the now.

Why don't we go around the country and get signatures and a marketing campaign to promote this theory. Hell why don't we just nominate Sammy "the sniper" Maybe nominate Lilja for the Norris! Sorry: I am just thoroughly pissed off tonight.

I have been watching most playoff games. Like I said before, nothing has seemed to change between the reg. season and the playoffs. I think there is a general consesus on here and in the hockey world that the officiating is crap, and changes need to be made. But do I expect anything anytime soon? Nope, I don't.

I really haven't seen much difference between the regular season and the playoffs. I haven't been overly ticked off yet with the officiating in wings/preds series. Seems as if they of kind of let them play thus far. I would hate to jinx anything.

I just say run the whole table.

This is far from a majority vote, but growing up in southern California, I always enjoyed listening to Bob Miller (Kings announcer for 35 years) just a clear sounding professional.

Personally I enjoyed the screen. I thought it brought a little humor to the game. God forbid we laugh at something in a hockey game

It really is unfortunate about the housing market and our local economy here in southern California. I live in Riverside County. I know that living in Riverside County is a step lower then the prestigious OC. I know this because the residents there wear that like a badge! I have never met more stuck up, yuppy people in my life. I work for a Harley dealer that serves OC partially. It's a "I have to have it now, and I dont want to pay for it" type of mentality. And for hockey being well and alive in youth ranks, that is very true. I have two sons that play. I guess I cant say that they have won some high and mighty tournament, maybe eventually they will. But I can say that they are good sports, and learning discipline, and it's helping them socially as well. As for the Ducks and their fans, well I can't really think of much to compliment on. They take that OC mentality right into the Ponda Center. They praise their team with paying extremely high ticket prices, praise thugs like Pronger, who is a disgrace to the game of hockey. Praise part time players like S.Niedermeyer and Selanne who couldn't possibly endure the grind of the regular season. If anything is more "Honeybaked" then those two, it would be news to me. I actually do laugh at the fans at the PC, because there are a ton of guys/gals in business suits that couldn't tell the difference between icing and off sides. And as for the OC not being as "rich as they were last year". Let me tell you something, most people are not as rich they were last year. But don't give me this were hurting too crap. Look around to other states are seriously hurting. I wonder if that is a common move with retaining their coach when going into the playoffs. It's probablyt imperative that he is there. Braintrust. I used to work in motorsports, and the more smart people who knew what the hell was going on and what to expect seemed to win more often! Good move in my opinion.

I think yesterdays game was just a great showing of talent and drive for the game that Drake still has. His feet were always moving, he was looking to get into the plays, and he drove the net on that first goal by McCarty. Who would have thought?
