Yeah he looks like a total chicken doing that. You know who else is weird, is Evgeni Nabokov. After he makes a save, he always looks as if he has a strange look on his face as he skates away. I guess it looks a little evil or a "ha ha I got you" kind of look.

Tonight I was so ecstatic that the Wings came back from being down against Dallas. They hit the record, and the 100 point mark and all that bitchen stuff, that we expect of the Wings every year. And I think we take a lot of the success for granted, and it's basically expected of them. I thought I would start this thread for pure fun. What are some of the weird or different things that our Wings do? That you notice on TV or at the game? Questions about the Joe? Here are mine. 1.How many pieces of gum does Mike Babcock go through in one game? Everytime the camera pans to him, he is throwing one away, and unwrapping another. 2.I like Samuelson, but does anyone else think he looks like a homeless person asking for change in front of a Wal-Mart? 3. Pissing in a troth at the Joe! It makes me nauseous. The smell, the thought of everyone standing in line to piss in this *** tandem together. Yuck! (Like that isn't worth getting a new arena for that reason alone) 4. I often wonder if our favorite players like Datsyuk or Z, or Lidstrom or whoever else on the team are really that approachable? Has anyone had the chance to approach them outside of hockey and asked for an autograph or a picture? Are they cool? (sidenote: I took my son to a NASCAR race. We were down in the pit area. My son asked for an autograph on his hat from Dale Jr. who wasn't doing anything but standing there, looked at my boy in the eye and said "no I can't do that." and walked away!)F@#k him! So share your thoughts or questions. or even answer some questions! Any which way, this should be the most stress free thread in the forum.

I have always been a Gretzky fan, so I would like to see him get into the playoffs finally. That team was such a long shot. Limited success in the playoffs of course. Got to keep the priorities straight!

I have no doubt that Messier deserves a lot of credit for his sucessful career and the success of the teams he played on, but he did play with the likes of stacked teams. He reminded me of T.O. jumping from team to team trying to find the big trophy. And I hate to compare Messier to T.O., cause T.O. is a p.o.s! But when following his career, I felt he did that. Yzerman on the other hand stayed with 1 team, his team. I am old enough to remember watching the Redwings through the 80's. We were not a very good team, but this guy stuck it out and it paid off big for him. The dude is an icon. And you have to expect a little bias when you are on this site comparing Redwings players to others, but Yzerman needs no special bias or consideration. Just look at his career. And look at him as a man.

Big loss for them, but at this point of the season, its just one of those things. Honestly I can care less about other teams injuries. I feel like the Wings have been hit harder than any other team. I just dont have any sympathy for these teams, unless it was a career or life ending injury. But yeah a definite loss for sure for the Vancouver Shmucks.

I think they should have retired the "C" that the Captains wear the night Steve Yzermans number went to the rafters. Steve was the only captain to do so much for the league and the game of hockey. I know Messier was Messier, but I hate to break it to people, but he was no Steve Yzerman. I think the "C" should be off of jerseys and replaced with an "L" for leader or something. There was and only will be one Captain and that was Stevie Y!

I think Bettman and Burke are in a broom closet somewhere giving each other reach arounds!

Hey everyone just wanted to say thanks to all of you that have sent me personal messages on here concerning my son and how Dale Jr. acted towards him. My son is so cool, he just think Dale Jr. is just a big do do head. But he is a true Redwings fan! He likes to come out and tell me "The Redwings scorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre!"

I see Vancouver more than likely. But I really dont want to play an overly large team like the Ducks, Sharks, or Colorado. I believe we can beat anyone in a series, but I dont want to play a team like Colorado. Colorado always plays us balls to the wall. They like to finish all of their checks, and my fear is someone getting injured or injured again, and then that would f*** is the rest of the playoffs.

I would say Nashville if they made it, due to the proximity betweeen Detroit and Nashville. No reason to tire out the boys so fast.
