Love that. I always sport the winged wheel. Wherever in the world I may be.

Good deal. Stability in net for St.Louis way overdue.

I will be there. I am the tall guy wearing the SAWCHUK shirt, driving the lifted truck that's 'all red-winged out'

I think thats a good deal for both sides. The Blues are over due for consistency in net.

I doubt anyone would pick 99 though out of respect, if the number wasn't retired. In local league, stuff that I was involved with growing up, you didn't want to wear 99 or even 98. 98 was a 'I am the next greatest player', stupid teenager s***. They usually ended up on the wrong side of an open ice hit, by an opposing player, that took exception to his number. I say give him 29. Let him put respect back in to that number. Is there anyone else around here, that would like to see a red/white Modano 29 jersey in full flight?

I wish I could be in the arbitration hearing with Niemi. Chicago trying to convince the arbitrator he sucks, and Niemi pointing at Huet and his contract! I love it. I say no less than 3 million is awarded = Blackhawks f***ed!

I wish Kovalchuk would just go to the KHL already. Every year there is a player, you just get tired of hearing their name. He is it this year for me. Last year it was Heatley, the year before it was Sundin or Hossa.

On Hockey This Morning on xm 204. That's the nhl home ice 24 hour hockey channel. Jimmy D, this morning was quoted, that Probert was the one player, that he had invested so much heart and time towards. The years of self destruction were hard years on everyone around Bob, and Jimmy D went as far as making a videotape of himself at Proberts fathers grave site. There he pleaded for Bob to change and take steps towards a recovery. He went on to say the Red Wings organization, including the Illitch's "are devastated." Like the rest of us. He was also quoted at saying, that Bob had been approached by Colin Campbell about future speaking appearances to players, about behavior, substance, and alcohol abuse. And he was totally on board and enthusiastic about the idea. Him and Colin Campbell had a special relationship after all these years. I forgot that Campbell was an assistant coach when Probert came into the league with Detroit. Just thought I would share what I heard, while sitting in traffic this morning. Still sad today

If I remember right, I thought you could barely hear a pitch,(being a human and all) It's been a long time. I used to have one, and would blow on while riding my bike as a little boy. I was an ass then too! The person below me is at a crossroads in their life, right now.

depends on the situation I guess. I usually take things for what they are worth. white or wheat

Yeah but were talking about Hudler here! He can be a ghost when he's not doing that ******* chicken dance with Ozzie :

I think we could benefit from his skating ability, his participation on the second unit power play, and he would be a great locker room presence. I wouldn't totally expect him to be running s***, per se.

He made me proud to be a Wings fan, when I was a teen! These guys aren't fighters now, they are actors. He was a f***in fighter! He wrote the book on how it's done!
