Does this mean Paul MacLean is safe? I hope so. The article which is in this link, states other possible coaching vacancies, and who may fill them. MacLean isn't mentioned anywhere, including Tampa. Portland Pirates coach Kevin Dineen, may be the front runner for the the job there. I initially read this on Kuklas Korner, but the link originated with the Blue Jackets writer of the Columbus Dispatch.

I don't mind watching our former Wings go on to succeed elsewhere. It's a little tough watching Leino like he did these playoffs. That was the Leino, we though we were getting prior to this season. Back on topic, I guess. Pretty big hit on Kope.

And when they panned the camera to Gretzky, his jaw was practically on the floor, mumbling 'wtf'! Gretzky definetly deserved the Conn Smythe in 84. -

As long as Abdelkader and Helm are resigned, I would be happy. Getting Bertuzzi in at the right price prior to June 30, I am okay with too. I am kind of blah about Bert. I am always curious to see what else is out there, if one of these guys gets to picky or wants to drag their feet. I wouldn't mind a solid pick up like Ray Whitney for under a mil. for a year.

There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks on xm radio about Tallon and McDonough, and how Wirtz, if he was a classy guy. Basically stating these guys deserve rings as well, if the Hawks were to win. Now I am actually curious to see if it happens. Not holding my breath though.

I jumped on the Yzerman bandwagon in 83. I remember when the Joe was clean and one of the newest, coolest places to see a live game. The only problem was, it was frequently empty! In my childhood memories, it always seemed to be Tigers. That was the ticket in town, especially in 84.
