I love the fact, that Holmstrom probably spat beer all over his persian rug, when he saw this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM6VDbJvopM&feature=player_embedded I can't stop watching it!

Yep I sure do. I am on a bagel kick though right now. The person below me sometimes skips their daily shower

I have read a lot of crap on this board. But you take the cake here. When you have the best owners in hockey, Jim Nill, Holland, the scouting and support staff this team as assembled over the years and you win four Cups in 11 years, make the playoffs every year. Other teams take notice. The staff of this team has been dissected over the years, because it's well run by smart people! People who look at the big picture. Teams are feasting on our sloppy seconds and doing really good. One of the great things this organization does for the sport of hockey is establish, groom, and promote their people. And if they ever feel like they want to leave, their time spent here will always be the highlight of their careers. And they will go on to be successful wherever they may go. BTW, Leino was not interested in learning the hardest system in hockey. There was never an issue with his talent, but his ability to conform. We all know Holmstrom has lost a step or two in the last 4-5 years. But Holmstrom has always worked his ass off, scoring the hardest goals, and paying the price nightly. And maybe your grandma can skate faster than him. But can your grandma tip a puck or take 5 or more crosschecks a night?

Loss of words then. Loss of words today.

So a team like Chicago that has pretty much dominated their opponents night in night out through the regular season, had a hot goaltender, that no one gave any validity too. Has a Norris trophy candidate on their blueline, three legitimate snipers, a big body in Buff, and home ice advantage throughout the playoffs, except SJ, for whom they swept. Comparing them to a team that made a coaching change, seven goalies, a seventh seed by a shootout, constant injuries from their big names while in the playoffs. This team should have been slaughtered by New Jersey, never being given a chance to do what they did to Boston. I don't see how anyone could of thought Philly was going to be there, and give a beast like Chicago a run like they are doing. And imo, Philly looks better on ice then they will ever on paper. Their regular season stats were nothing to brag about this year.

The Flyers shouldn't have even been in this series! The way the Blackhawks are built this year, they should have totally dismantled this team in four. It's good to see a team like Philly, a true underdog hang in there like they are. I have posted multiple times, prior to this series about my dislike for Philly. But in all honesty, I have found a great deal of respect for this team.

I have a sneaky feeling this game will be tied up, next intermission.

It's time to just 'goon' it up, if your the Flyers now. 3-0

I don't typically post in these 'what about this guy' threads? But Winchester would be a solid off season pick up. Hopefully he wouldn't expect a substantial increase in pay.

I hope Doc Emrick says 'rubbed out' 100 times tonight!

Bob Miller the Kings guy for nearly 36 years, is probably my favorite. Ken and Mick are damn good too. But in all honesty I love listening to Mike Lange broadcast for the Pens, Peter Maher for the Flames, and Tim Saunders for the Flyers. I absolutely hate listening to Brian Hayward in Anaheim, Chuck Kaiton in Carolina, and of course 'Eddie O the homer from Chicago'

I was near the beach earlier = nice, breezy, and relaxing. 30 miles inland (where I live) = hot, crappy air quality, no breeze

Yes I did. I just returned home from the swap meet near the beach. Good bargains on produce, breads, and marinades The person below me doesn't go to the grocery store without a coupon or more
