If I remember right, Holland spoke publicly about, if he had known Hudler was defecting and his salary would be off the books, he would have then made Samuelsson a much better offer that would have possibly retained him in Detroit. Samuelsson in my opinion got away. This forum talked a ton of s*** about him, but he was clutch. Let me re-phrase, he is clutch. Just with Vancouver.

xm today was all over Huds with their 'Around the Rinks in 90 seconds'. Basically an ever so often update on the station/channel. They said it's pretty much a done deal, and should be a Red Wing for sure next season. They said there has been constant contact between Hudler and Ken Holland for more than six weeks now. Look at Kenny, gettin' it done!

I thought Brodeur was nothing but average. This team needs to get tough this Summer. They got treated like a bunch of ******* by Philly. They were beat down and beat up all five games.

That would make me puke. I think the only team that could take Pittsburgh out is Vancouver. I honestly think Detroit would come up short there as well if they made it that far.

Man Montreal looks tough. Washington looks rigid, fear of making a mistake. I honestly think Montreal can win this series.

I actually think Hitch would be a good fit there. I am almost curious to see that. I would rather see Hitch there, then Keenan.

xm has been talking all day of possible replacements and how they assume that New Jersey will change their style for good now. So maybe this 'trap' s*** is gone for good. Hitchcock's name has been coming up all day on the radio as well.
