As a jersey collector, I have really got myself an education of whats fake and whats not. I have bought quite a few jersies from these dealers that sell these so called 'authentic' jersies at much lower prices. I know that they are not authentic, and you really get what you pay for! If I am really having my heart set on a true authentic jersey, I get it from shopnhl.com. I know there are other distributors of authentic jersies that are reputable. But the fitment, quality, return policy can't compare to nhl.com. But you will pay for it. I bought my WC jersey, full on customized with Lidstrom on the back. I paid top dollar for it. But I can tell you, it is by far the best fitting, feeling, sharpest jersey I have ever worn!

I am kind of with you on this. I want the leafs to be a good contending team in the east. Their fans deserve a much better team, then they have been given in recent years. But I want the Wings to keep pushing to pass the Leafs in Cups. After watching the Habs fall on their face, I said, that I believed the Leafs were going in such a positive direction, that they would win the Cup before Montreal does!

His camp, and that outing against Minnesota last season might as well been dead.. I was thinking like a great goalie that had tons of confidence.

I am equally faithful to both these nations, being a Canadian living in the U.S., but I cant help believe that both these countries cant suck it up and not be so effing high and mighty all the time!

Do they fly, even it's Philly and NJ or the NY area teams or what have you. There has to be some bussing. I would find getting your s*** together for a flight thats only 15 minutes is kind of stressful.

These two governments and agencies or whoever need to find a away to come up with an agreement with the transporting these sports teams. And why would Canada retaliate and make this a pissing contest? The article only said Air Canada Charters. I wonder if it is just Air Canada.

I think this could turn into a much bigger problem than it sounds like thus far. This is going to be a real headache for these teams.

Wasn't Legace there in Atlanta for the All-Star game, season before last? I think Atlanta is a good fit for him. The goaltending depth there is crap at best. If Legace can pull his head out of his ass, lay off the booze, hit the gym, and focus, he can be a decent goaltender in this league still.

Would the Red Wings have been a much bigger winner in offseason signings, compared to other teams, if they had waited to sign Franzen and Zetterberg? I think this team has done a good job in not overpaying this offseason. The signings of Eaves and Bertuzzi, I feel were quality, low risk signings. I am not real happy about the Williams deal, but he is here, and I believe he can produce, clutch like Sammy. Maybe, maybe not. But not giving into to Samuelssons and Kopeckys demands were justified. And even though an excellent goal scorer in Hossa is gone, it freed up a fair amount of money to pay for some decent pluggers. That Hossa deal on top of the Franzen, and Z deals would have crippled this team for the next few seasons, especially with an unstable Cap number coming. The only thing for me that sucks in all of this, is losing a solid back up or tandem goaltender in Conklin. But we all knew he would need more money and be gone. The teams I felt that have improved are Montreal, Toronto, LA, and Minnesota. Teams that have gone backwards I feel are Anaheim, SJ, Calgary, Nashville, and Florida.

I totally agree. I can never fully understand why he walks on water when it comes to rating goalies. His best stats are most shots faced and most saves made in a game or playoff game. You can say the team in front of him hasn't been very good all you want, but I put him into the good goalie category with Kipper, Nabokov, and a current Khabibulin.

Even though I really liked the WC jersey (I bought one) I would prefer to only see it on a very rare occasion. I like the fact that the Wings do not always follow suit with the majority of the teams that choose to do something trendy.

xm reported this earlier today, stating that all the reps got together and voted this year, like they do every year. And he was overwelmingly voted out this time. There was no reason given, but stated there was rumor of this last week.

I have seen a lot worse. I kind of like it. I still think the Dallas Stars white jersey is the ugliest. Looks like an oversized white shirt, with a cheap iron on patch on the front.
