Yeah I am to lazy to look up stats. I thought Betts was a load also, but the announcers from yesterdays game said he was the team leader for face-offs! I took their word for it!

I still believe fighting should remain in the game. But a goon like Brashear gives nothing positive to the argument of keeping it in the game. Does anyone remember when Brashear went after Bogosian early in the season? Bogosian I think was just a 19 year old kid.

I bet after 1pm we will have a lot more info on all this. This could have implications for this game tomorrow.

I hate both of these effen teams!

The place was actually pretty full. But there were groups of seats that were empty, which I thought was a little strange. The Duck fans were really into the game during the first period. Probably because there was a lot of up and down emotion with four goals and tons of penalties. I guess I most enjoyed the two guys behind me, trying to understand the game. The differences between icing and offsides. Wearing their 'Neider-vacation' jersies over their dress shirt and tie! Them getting pissed everytime a Ducks player fell down or got hit into the boards, and wanting a penalty. I was just a little taken at the lack of drive on either side to make things happen. To make sure the pass got to it's intended target, to hit an open blinding net. But if these teams get together and stop taking so many dumb penalties after the whistle, they might have a better chance to win every game.

I just got home from the san jose, anaheim game tonight. I had great seats at center ice. sat with all the photographers on the club level. What an absolutely boring game. I just had watched the detroit, columbus game on a really piss poor columbus feed, and it was a hell of a lot more exciting then two teams that couldn't pass for s***, missed many open nets, and couldn't stay on their skates. Blame the crappy ice if you will, but after watching these two play tonight, I have no fear for the Wings playing either one of these teams.

I have Directv here in southern california. I have the center ice package, and it's showing it is set to air on fs detroit and fs detroit hd. So hopefully I dont get some mysterious blackout here. Its fairly dependable.

I was just doing some reading over there on the sharks boards as well. I think they are gonna hang themselves. It's hard to watch this game, when I hate both teams! Kind of like the SJ/Anaheim series.

Thats why I am liking this series. Either SJ loses the series or they come out of it tired and injured.

Talk about long overdue. Risebrough is a load. He should have been let go last season. Lemaire will be at the helm of Montreal next season. It's like all the stars are aligning for this uniting by the summer.

You hit it right on. xm, nhl home ice today was all over this topic. They were saying he is the likely candidate for the job, and that him and that organization have remained on a good terms throught the years. They also touched on the likelyhood of Patrick Roy replacing Granato in Colorado.

I hope it's not Detroit! If I had to pick one, I would say Montreal. In the west, I say Calgary gets swept! Chicago has owned them this year winning every meeting. But the playoffs are different.

The other day Ken and Mickey were talking about how they had a good year and were telling the crew good job and all. But then Ken, was like but were not done yet. Seemed like he was implying that there were broadcasts to come on FS-D still. I hope so.

Somebody should be concerned in this organization! If they are able to flip this infamous switch, and be this team to reckon with, I will shut up once and for all about the lack of drive and wilingness night in night out this team has posessed since opening night.
