Someone needs to stay on Nash, like stink on s*** today! I know it's a back to back, but this team really needs to step it up against this team. Columbus is the only team in the west I would fear the Wings playing in the first round.

We can only hope Dan O'Halloran would be next. But I always thought Shick did a decent job. I can't remember him specifically making crappy calls, and being a ref we had to watch out for.

That was pretty crazy. He totally tried to hide that thing from the ref. Funny. There have been a few measurements. Seems like one per season. The most famous, was the McSorley incident.

I am actually a little surprised this didn't happen earlier. They have been on this downward spiral for some months now. Gainey is the one who should have been relieved of his duties though! This team who very much needed to make a trade at the deadline, decided to stand pat. Acting like everything is a-okay! Just another example of mismanagement above the coaching position, and the coach being the fall guy. This off season is going to totally look like an auction. More coaches will probably be relieved and replaced with good ones like Renney, Carboneau, and Savard. I would be surprised if Granato, Mactavish, Carlisle, and Lemaire have their jobs at seasons end. Should be interesting.

Giving away? They were probably the biggest winner of this whole trade deadline. They are getting rid of these dead weight acquisitions like Jokinnen, who obviuosly didn't want to be there, who played terrible with Doan. I believe they are making quality moves at this point.

I don't put much stock into this 'worst organization ' title. This team will eventually be managed appropriately and get reorganized. It's a known fact that professional sports can survive in a halfway decent tv market in the desert. But I think when you have an organization that is being held hostage by the city they play for, problems will arise. This organization doesn't have the basic revenues that others organizations achieve so easily, such as concessions and parking.
