They can have the all stars face the front ofice of the nhl. Watching Phaneuf run Colin Campbell into the boards, or Bettman on the receiving end of an open ice hit from Chara! Talk about a ratings improving. Fortunately there is no ASG for two whole years for the league to screw up! (Olympics in 2010, and then the next ASG in Phoenix in 2011). Ample time to recoup!

Bettman is typically on his radio show on xm 204 on Sundays as well. He sounds like such a tool when he talks. You can try and get through, but its almost impossible. People sit in que for an hour trying to get their 5 seconds in!

Just got home from the game tonight. I was definetly impressed with Conklin. The look on some of the Kings fans faces tonight when Datsyuk had the puck was funny. They were absolutely amazed at his puckhandling skill. He is unbelievable in person! All around great effort tonight. Especially after playing a tough one lastnight.

Lidstrom is the best D-man ever. Bobby Orr is a distant second. Franzen is one of the most underrated players in the league. Conklin was a steal for 750,000 The Grind Line needs to hang em up for good. Lilja, Sammy, are excellent players of the game. The best forward in the league is Datsyuk.

I don't tunderstand why people on here would seriously think that the team would return to Winnipeg. Or or any Canadian city at that. It's been stated over and over again about the ability for a city in the country to support an nhl franchise, that does not currently have a team. The owner(s) would have to be willing to lose millions upon millions to stick a team in places like Winnipeg, Halifax, Regina, or Quebec City. Those markets cannot realisticly compete with the TV markets in Florida, Atlanta, Phoenix, Anaheim, and Nashville! Why the hell do you think they are there in these markets already? Its all about the tv. And has nothing to do with the weather outside! The only area that would have the possibility of carrying another team would be in the southern Ontario, in and around Toronto.
