I was so excited to have Rafalski back. He played great. He is becoming one of my favorite players. The other Red Wings need to follow his example and stand up to the other teams players. Downey is great but the rest of the team needs to send the message that they will not be pushed around.

that was a great win. The team has great chemistry and all of the guys put in a good effort. Rafalski is so cool for sticking up for his teammate. My love for Downey grows more and more. Datsyuk was phenomenal,I love watching him play.

My concern is if he did come here would he respect Lidstrom as Captain. Lidtrom has a quiet , mellow kind of personality, so I would be worried that he might give him some problems.

That is great news to know that Lidstrom is back on the ice and starting to practice. I can't wait to see him and Cheli playing again.

I love Dan Cleary, so I hope that the deal gets done soon. The team still needs Chelios because he is such a great influence on the younger defensemen. I am still holding out hope that Stuart will fall in love with Detroit and want to sign with the team, he fits perfectly here and I think that this is the one team that he could feel at home with and be happy to play for.

I am so excited that we won the game, it was an all around great team effort. I hope that the momentum from the win will carry us through all of the games in March.

I am excited that he will be back, hopefully with Rafalski, Stuart, and Kronwall on D we will be able to get out of the slump we are in. When Lidstrom and Chelios get back the team should be back on track and ready for the playoffs.

The team is really missing their Captain and seem a little lost without him.Once we get Lidstrom, Rafalski, and Chelios back I think that everything will be fine and the team will get back on track. Watching Kronwall and Stuart play I realized that once everyone is healthy our team is going to be almost unstoppable. I can't wait for Dan Cleary to return , so that we can go into the playoffs strong with the confidence that we can beat any team we face. I can't imagine Lidstrom ever retiring, and not being there leading the Defense, so I will just pretend that, that day will never come.

I am really liking Stuart. I hope that he loves being a Red Wing and wants to stay in Detroit. We could use a couple of more players just like him. I hope that the other Red Wings will follow his example and be more physical, especially Lilja.

I am beginning to think that we are cursed. No matter what we do we cannot seem to win a game. I really do Like Stuart I hope that he decides to Stay in Detroit. I hope that he can inspire some of the other Red Wings to be more physical.

I am counting the days until Cleary comes back. He has so much heart and soul, I really miss seeing him play. I think that he is going to be great in the playoffs. I hope that he will be a Red Wing for the rest of his career.

I hope that they get Cleary signed real soon, he is one of my favorite players. I love how he plays the game, he has real heart and soul. I also want Cheli around for another year, just because I love him. Also, I hope that Stuart likes it here and wants to stay a Red Wing. He can always move his family here, so I hope that everything works out.

I for one am excited to see him play. I hope that he will be physical and play with a mean streak. Maybe some of our other D-men will get inspired by watching him and want to be more physical themselves.

If his elbow had not been high then I would of had no problem with the hit. But it is because of his elbow that Nick hit his head. Had Nick not hit his head on the glass he would not of hurt his knee and would still be playing. So I do have a problem with the hit. But Downey is my hero for taking care of business and protecting the team.

This means that we have Lilja and Lebda again as our top defensemen for another game? I don't think that I can bear it.

I don't care if they trade Hudler , Filpula and Samuelson. They are doing nothing for the team. We need players with Heart and Soul who are willing to go out and get the job done. I am not trying to be mean towards Hudler, Filpula, and Samuelson, but I do not think that they are the kind of players that the team needs right now.

I can't believe that Lilja is our top defenseman. This is like being in a nightmare that you cannot wake up from. but maybe Lilja and Lebda will surprise me and play brilliantly and help the team get a win.

I am beginning to believe that our D-men are cursed or something, we keep losing them to injury. Hopefully once the playoffs start the injury bug will go after some other team. The Ducks would be a good choice.

He is just jealous.He wishes that he could play as long as Cheli and still be a good player. Chelios Rocks.

I am excited to see him play, I really hope that he will be physical, if not it will just be a waste of his size. We already have too many non physical defensemen.

Three weeks is going to seem like forever. I am still counting the days for Cleary to return. But as long as Nick comes back healthy then I will be happy. As for Lilja as a choice to fill in for Captain with Nick out, I would much rather have Chelios as fill in Captain because he would be a great leader. But I wonder if they will give the "C" to some one else or just have three Alternate Captains instead? I hope that , that will be their decision, because we only have one true Captain no matter if he is on the ice or not.

I hope that he heals quickly. Watching a game without the Captain out there is going to be hard, but I hope this will motivate the team to play their best until he gets back. And I think that Cheli will be a great leader on the ice while they wait for Lidstrom to return.

I hope that Downey is a Red Wing for the rest of his career. I love the fact that he will take on anyone to defend his teammates. He lets the other teams know that they cannot mess with our guys and get away with it. We need a few more Downeys on this team.

I love Downey, you don't mess with our Captain and get away with it. I wish we had two more just like him on our team.

It was fun to watch, I loved the passion.
