I just love the double standard of our judicial system. As long as you are some kind of a celebrity you do not have to worry about the consequences of your actions. What is the point of having laws, if not everyone has to abide by them? What did Kane learn from this experience? he learned that he can do whatever he wants and it will not have any effect on his life in anyway. He sure is a great role model isn't he? If he was a real man he would of publicly admitted what he did was wrong and apologized to the cab driver, and he should of given some sort of restitution to the poor man. It is nice to know that Kane has no morals or respect for his elders.

I know one thing for sure, that I won't be rooting for team USA with Kane on the roster. There is no excuse that makes it okay for a twenty year old man to beat up a man in his sixties. Is that the kind of character they want represented on their team? The fact that the Black Hawks are going to stand behind Kane is sickening. I hate the fact that since he is a star, he thinks that he can do whatever he wants and does not have to worry about consequences. What ever happened to morals and respect for your elders?

Kane should be ashamed of himself. What a horrible example he is setting for all of the kids that look up to him. You have to be a real low life to beat up an old man. I can't wait to see how Kane and his cousin try to explain away the cuts on the mans face and neck. Are they going to say that he did it to himself? The Hawks don't deserve to have a good season this year, especially if they do nothing with the Kane situation.

I am going to root for whoever the Wings sign, as long as he is a hard worker and a team player. And this player may surprise everyone and have a great year. This is my hope anyways.

I am so over Hossa, he is a Black Hawk now so he can say whatever he wants. I don't really care one way or the other.

I am really excited about seeing Leino play with the Wings, I hope that he has a great year. I want Hudler to stay and I hope that he is willing to take a one year discount to stay with the team. I am so happy that we finally got someone to sign with the team, it was kind of depressing to see all of our other free agents go to other teams.

I used to feel bad for Hossa when he did not win the cup with us, but after reading his comments about the Hawks being hungry, I don't feel bad at all. I do find it funny that he used the word hunger since he did not have the hunger when he played with us. With all of our injuries we really needed him to step up his play and he was not able to, if he had he would be a Stanley Cup Champion right now. The Hawks can keep him. The only one I feel sorry for is Conklin. I wish that we could of kept him, he played real well for Detroit and it would of been nice for him to win the Cup since he was also on the losing side two years in a row.

Hossa chose to go to another team and that is his right , I see nothing wrong if people choose to boo him and not support him. After all he is on a rival team and has no loyalty to the Wings and The Wings fans have no loyalty to him. Once a player leaves a team he cannot expect to hear cheers when he comes back to play in their building. And if people choose to cheer him on, well that is fine too. To each his own. It's too bad that he went to the Hawks, if he had gone east I might have been able to root for him a little bit.

I don't expect any loyalty from Hossa, he came here for one year and that was it. I only wish that he could of won the Cup, but it was not meant to be. I wish that Hossa could of played like he did last year, but the pressure seemed to be too much for him to overcome. It's too bad that he won't leave the Wings a champion. I hope that he will be happy on whatever team he ends up on. That being said, Hossa should just come out and say that he is not going to sign with the Wings so that everyone can move on.

What are The Wings going to do if Howard can't get the job done? Ozzie can't play all the games. I am sorry but I think that the Wings are making a mistake. And I hope that I will be proven wrong, and that Howard will play great, but I have my doubts. I feel bad for Conklin because he liked playing in Detroit and I am sure that something could of been worked out with him to stay.

If Hossa does not want to be a Red Wing than so be it, let him go to the highest bidder. I just wish that they were going to offer a Contract to Conklin. He played real well for the Wings and I have no confidence in Howard. Losing Conklin makes me more sad than losing Hossa.

I would rather keep Sammy and Hudler, because they really want to be Red Wings. At first I wanted to keep Hossa, but since he is dragging his feet that says to me that being a Red Wing is not that important to him. So he and Kopecky can go to some other team, but they just might miss being in the best organization in the whole NHL.

What a wonderful person Abby is. I am glad he is a Red Wing and I hope that he will have a great career with the team.

I knew that when the Wings played my least favorite team the Ducks that it would not bode well for the team. I knew that the Wings would come out of the series beat up and drained of energy after having to play those goons. Then they had to play a good fast Hawks team and with all their injuries the Wings had to use up more precious energy so now they have almost nothing left. I blame the Sharks for choking and not taking out the Ducks like they were supposed to. The Pens are lucky to play in the East and have a much easier road to the finals. I fear that the team is down to playing on adrenaline and that they are tired and weary. The whole issue of Pavel saying that he wants to play, hopes to play, got everyones hopes up that he would be able to go in game four and when he couldn't it was a big let down for the team and the fans. The Wings need to dig down deep and remember that they are the reigning Stanley Cup Champions and start playing like they are.

I blame the Sharks for our current play. If they had not choked and taken out the ducks liked they should have, we would not have come of that series beat up and a little worn down. Then we had to face a good fast Hawks team and with injuries it took even more energy out of the team. The one thing I feared about the playoffs was playing the Ducks, because of the physical toll it would take on the team. Now that they are in the finals, it seems like all of their drive, desire, and energy is gone. The team needs to dig down deep and get a take no prisoners attitude if they are going to repeat. Lidstrom needs to have a players only meeting and ask his teammates if they want to win the Cup again, and if they are willing to do what it takes. The team really needs Pavel back. It is a shame that he got hurt, because I think this series would be much different if he were healthy. Poor Hank is being worn out and no one on the Wings is stepping up their game in this series to help him out.

What I would like to know is where is the great defense of last year. We started this year with the same players but the defense has been awful. Did someone put something in their water because I cannot understand how it can just fall apart the way it did. The Wings need to get the drive and desire back to win the Cup. They need to do whatever it takes to win. Lidstrom needs to have a players only meeting and the team needs to decide if they really want the Cup or not and if they decide they do want it, then the Wings needs to play like a team on a mission and take it to the Pens. Even if Pavel is not 100% , he needs to play in game five, because he certainly could not play any worse then some of his teammates. Can I please have the Hossa of last years playoffs back. I really want him to win the Cup, and I cannot stand the thought of the Pens winning it, since they are my second least favorite team.

I am hoping that Babcock, will replace Maltby with Draper for game four. And if Pavel thinks that he can play, I say let him. Even if he is not 100% he will probably still be better than some of the players who are not doing much.

It might be wrong, but I would love for Babcock to take out Holmstrom and put Leino on the first line and Abby on the fourth line. Leino has the kind of skill that the team needs to play against Chicago. I do see a problem for the power plays with no Holmstrom to stand in front of the goalie, but I would like to see if it would work.

I am all for it. I like Leino, and if he was called up he would be giving his all every shift. Our team needs energy and he would bring some with him.

That was a heartbreaking loss. I hate losing to the Ducks, I cannot stand that team of Goons. I really hope that the Wings win both games in Anaheim. Can we please now bring up Leino from GR. I loved his energy and drive when he was up with the Wings.

I was hoping that the Sharks would win tonight and beat the Ducks in game 7. I cannot stand the Ducks and I am not looking forward to watching them Goon it up against the Wings. I wanted the Sharks and Wings to meet in the Western Conference Final, but it was not meant to be.

I am glad that Helm will be in the line-up, but I really want Leino on the team as well. I hope that he is called up soon, he brings much needed energy.

Since the Red Wings are not worried about their recent play, I will have to worry for them.
