Hey brother, I sent a few votes in Kingsville's direction. Just out of curiosity where is K-Ville in respect to London?? What's the population?? I ask a lot of questions because I have always had a burning desire to become part of a community like this, a small town where everyone comes together around the greatest game in the world. I live in London, so it's more of a big city, a University city, where there is no common uniting factor such as this. I'm just a kid still (19) and I can very much see myself becoming integrated into a community like this somewhere down the line. At least that is my hope. Anyways, great stuff, and good luck with the competition. (PS. You won me over with your avatar. Anchorman is literally my favourite movie of all time, not just comedy, but movie. If I had my own personal Oscars, it would have a clean sweep of every single category, no question.)

As far as I see it there are two ways that this could spin. 1) This one is NOT going to happen. In this scenario we end this streak, head into the playoffs and get knocked out in the first round. As critical fans, we then look back to Black February as the beginning of the end for this team, the month where it all started to come undone. 2) This one IS going to happen....hopefully. (Also, I don't like how this thread points to ANTI-Wings fans. To be an anti-Wing fan would mean that you are opposed to Wings fans, and I guess to the Wings. I realize this is just semantics, but just because some people get concerned about a 6 game skid doesn't make them worse fans because of it.)

Getting that Spengler Cup feeling everytime you watch an NHL game?? Priceless. But seriously, considering the fact that I hate soccer, NASCAR,and skiing more than a swift kick in the 'nads, this would obviously suck alot.

People keep saying that we played a good game today. That's not true. We had a great first period, which led me to believe that we would play a great game, but the second was just as bad as any other period we'ev played during the slump, and the third, up until the last 2 minutes, wasn't much better. I'd say we only played well for 20 to 25 minutes, and then reverted to our prior ways. Changes have to be made.

As bad as we have been playing, its hard not to notice the fact that we have been getting NO BOUNCES. Right now, we can't catch a break; a shot of the defenses stick or skate, a weak goal of any sort. I guarantee you that once this team scores one fluke goal, we'll snap right out of it. THe problem is that you start losing, and it starts to seem more and more impossible that you'll ever win again. A fluke goal will restore a mound of confidence I think. WE WIN TOMORROW NIGHT. O ya, that Samuelsson guy isn't very good, has anyone noticed this??? I don't know how this guy manages to escape so much criticism on these boards

I'm officially frustrated. We're so weak mentally right now. Turco got in our head early when we were pouring it on, and then we just folded up. Out boys need to do some soul/mind searching and get back that headstrength that we had earlier in the season. Zetterberg, Datsyuk, not near good enough. I'm officially ready for Holland to make a serious play for Sundin. Great game from Howie tho, the future within the pipes looks bright.

In my mind he has different names to different people. I like to call him Chauncey....Chauncey the Classy Octopus. But that's just me.

Best period we've played in weeks! Best player that period had to be Franzenstein, we was a beast out there, that's what I like to see!

I actually didn't realize until I saw a closeup that it was the octopus. I then realized that what I had said bordered on heresy. It is the sweetest helmet ever, no question.

Does anyone notice that Sammy shouldn't be a top 6 guy for two huge reasons. 1) He sucks too much, and thus is not good enough. 2) He wastes the skill of the guys that he plays with who are legit top 6 guys (aka Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Flip, etc.)

Watching Samuelsson is actually kind of funny....you have to the the puck past the blue line before you delay like that, numbnuts!
