I wouldn't mind being a GM. I'd take the Habs (assuming the Wings and Pens are taken). Let me know if this gets off the ground.

O man, don't even get me started on Coheed. Ever since Good Apollo....No World for Tomorrow came out last year, they've been a personal favourite of mine. All their albums are top notch. Musically impeccable, lyrically and conceptually unrivaled. Its Progressive Rock and it sure as hell isn't Emo or Punk s***, their is definitely someinfluence in there, especially on the first album, but for the most part, I think his high voice tends to give people that false impression when it isn't true. Go Wings! Go Coheed!

I'm personal friends with Ozzy and we are pretty confident that when puberty hits he'll be able to grow a full, thick beard like Walt Frazier and Keith Hernandez.

Well, the way we came out of the gate is the way that we have to play for the rest of the postseason. Pierre said it himself, when we utilize our speed and energy that way, the Dives have no counter. It wasn't like the Dives played poorly in the first, it was the sporatic Presidents trophy winners deciding to give it all for a period before reverting back into the trend of mediocraty. Hopefully that 4rd period served as a wakeup call to this team that the Aves are a better team than the Preds, and you have to give it all for 60 minutes. I though Ozzie settled down after that 2nd goal, which was a softie. The third goal really wasn't his fault. He made some big saves in the 4rd, which made up for the fact that we were applying very little offensive pressure, and seemed to be having immense trouble clearing our zone. Kronwall was great, and it was nice to see him get some recognition on the TSN broadcast, and Franzen was also outstanding. But Wings, for game 2, emulate the first half, not the second....mmmkay?!?! 1-0 GO WINGS!

ahahahahahahahaha..... not funny. Although, maybe the French Canadians still have some affinity for her, but she is more or less a punchline right about now, if anything at all.

I'm kind of surprised we're not starting with the Drake-Drapes-Cleary line and then keeping Huds on a line with Helm. Hopefully if these bottom two lines can't get going Babs'll go back to the game 6 lineup. I like those ones. However, hopefully these ones work too.

I trust you...Sweet!

If he gets anywhere in this career its gonna be based solely on his last name because his music is weak...even by hiphop standards.

I also think that part of the "Smyth sucks" mentality comes from his role on the Aves in comparison to his role on the Oilers. The way that he played, working his ass of and giving his heart and soul to the organization, created a sort of aura around him given the team that he played for which was, at the time, not dominated by huge names and was in a huge Canadian market, nearby where he had grown up and developed his skills. In reality, his stlyle hasn't changed (I'm sure, although I haven't seen him play to much either in his short stint with the Isles or with the Aves), hard working heart and sould guys don't tend to lose their defining characteristics, his team and his role have. He isn't a number 1 guy in Colorado, he's not the face of the franchise, and he plays in a market where he has considerably less exposure than he did in Edmonton. All in all, whether or not he plays the exact same game that he did in Edmonton, it just feels like a large part of his influence on the game was dependent on the team for which he played. He's the kind of player that I can see returning to Edmonton one more time before its all said and done, its where he belongs. (The reason I'm opinionated on this is because I've heard several of my non-Wing buddies exclaim that Smyth sucks and that he's lost his game since he got traded. I'm a big Smyth fan because of the way that he plays, and hell, he's Captain Canada. It's too bad the Wings are gonna beat the s*** out of him in the next few weeks! ) GO WINGS! SMYTH SUUUUCKS! -

Welcome, bestkeeper, Its always good to have a different perspective, especially during a seven game series. With that said, please don't hold it against this site when things start to get pretty ridiculous and depressing after a Wings loss. I mean, after game four in Nashville, apparently we should have changed captains, replaced Holland, and submitted Zetterberg to a mental hospital. No joke (except maybe the last one). All in all, it should be a great series, and one hell of a tough loss for the Aves . Go Wings! Aves Suck! -
Looks like we all just dealt with the Dog, b*tch! :rotflmao:

DET/COL: 4-2 SJ/DAL: 4-3 MON/PHI: 4-2 PIT/NYR: 4-3

:rotflmao: I, too, have thought that McCarty has been displaying some fisticuff-less loins. With that said, I remember on some thread yesterday it showed all the first round series by number of hits, and Colorado v Minny had the lowest, Detroit v Nashville was the second lowest which leads me to believe that we should be able to carry the physical play in this series. However, we know that they are gonna play us real hard considering how much we owned them during the season. I mean, we beat them 4-0 with a fairly depleted lineup, and they are looking revamped. Should be a doosie!

Alright folks, its been fun discussing hockey and the complexities of the cultural discourse that is South Park with all. Good night.

Man, I'm just picturing what some people are gonna cook up in te Rd. 2 photoshop thread.....it will be glorious

So true. I mean, there have been 5-max that you watched and then said "That wasn't particularly entertaining." Pretty much all the rest of em have ranged from B to A+ IMO.

Ya, I'm (non-sarcastically) surprised

Have a little troubly with that one, Nabokov?

LOL, certainly 'Scott Tenorman Must Die' has its merits, and it was rated quite high, but it was docked points in the adjudication for its reliance on sheer shock value. With that said, it was Grade A bad ass!

Oh but of course, <www.southparkzone.com> is like my favourite site of all time, South Park is an institution!
