HAHAHA Get real, the Ducks would have knocked you guys out in any round you played them. Hiller was on fire this year. It would have been fun to see how deep the tears gotten on the ice if the Pens met the Ducks in the cup.

Not to mention how many leg injuries Cheli has had in his career. Dude has some seriously tore up wheels. He seems to like his role on this team, although he probably wishes he could be more invovled on the ice: the man is a pro and understands his role on this team. I am sure he takes pride in helping develop the new D man and is looking forward to a role in the front office (I hope!).

Talked to 5 hawks fans in the burbs this evening while at the UFC fight. ALL of them talked about how great the hit was, not ONE of them said it was a cheap shot. ALL of them said the penalty was bulls***. ALL of them were happy the hawks won. Not one person I talked to all night had anything bad to say about the hit. However one really cute girl told me, "Detroit Sucks" However I was able to get her to change her tune, to spite her ex. I was however unsuccessful in pulling a number (******* playoff beard) So I am at home tonight posting on this board.

What do NHL players know about guts anyway? Fighting racism and religeous persecution takes some guts. Facing the world everyday when you know you about to lose you livlihood, thats guts. Running into enemy fire to retrieve a fallen comrad, that takes some gut. Raising a handicapped child, that takes guts. Overcoming cancer, that takes guts. Rolling into a 1%'r bar on a honda with your police hat on, yeah that takes guts. Banging a hooker in TJ, guts. Making crazy sums of money for playing a sport, then picking your spot to pop off at the mouth? How does that take guts? Seriously these guys are a bunch of clowns who should never say anything about having guts.

I think the only call the linesman can really make is high sticking?? I thought they gave them that power one year, you know when that was the flavor of the month. Dont buy into this linesman made the call trash. The linesman can tell the Ref what he sees, but it is the refs decision to make the call. Both refs saw this play and we saw the result. Trying to dodge responsability is exactly why the NHL is such trash. Sure lets blame someone else.

This team tries to out talent every team every game. Unfortunately superior talent doesnt usually equal wins in the play offs. In the play offs, will is king.

How did missing Kronner on D stop our forward from scoring? Im not sure I understand how giving it to the Hawks in the second translated to letting them off the hook the entire 3rd. If this series gets tied up on Sunday, how do you feel? Do you think the Wings will have the same legs the Hawks will in a long series? Honestly, I dont. We are the better more skilled team but I think we need to show up and play 60 min. Not 10 here or there, all 60. We have shown all playoffs that we (to this point) arent willing to do it. This longer this series goes, the more confidence and strong the Hawks will play. They are much younger and much less experience. We need to slap them around all game and end this early.
