Maybe they are hoping to go to the show and get their asses handed to them again by the Penguins? -
Sorry, it is pretty funny though.

hahaha. Dbag has spent way to much time around Pronger. -
I live in Chicago and anyone from here will tell you, there are no fans in sports like the band wagon fans here in Chicago. Its pretty amuzing actually.
-
The NHL has different rules for different players. Pronger has been given license to do whatever he wants while on the ice. Been that way since he was on St Louis. This is why the NHL is a second tier league, the rules actually change from player to player. Again, Bettman did the same thing in the NBA. MJ could literally carry the ball and run with it, he also double dribbled all over the court. Its lame but since the late 80's this is how the league has gone.

Time to put your Kings jersey back on and enjoy your summer.

I agree with you. My point was bad officiating in the play offs seems to be a tradition, and one the NHL is somehow proud of. Like I said they even have a term for it, its thrown all over the media. Play Off Hockey.
-
Is this your first playoffs? This is so ingrained in the NHL they actually have a term for it, play off hockey. The rules change in every aspect of the game. It sucks, but it is how this *** ass league does it. Same thing Bettman did in basketball when players coud run from the freethrow line as long as they dunk.

Ill add Ozzie should have never been traded from this team. He had an awesome 01 playoff and was sent away after the team couldnt score more than a few games on the Kings. That was a travesty. Way to go Ozzie Ive been on your side since 1996!

Take it easy, my pedigree chum.

Game 6 MVP should have been the ice crew at the pond. Why not have our bench maintenance crew be the hero in game 7?

What do you expect when Jesus plays on your team?

Sounds like a sure fire way to get tazed.

I said this in another thread. No. Hossa is a great player, one of the best in the world. I really like him alot. That being said, he only makes this team marginally better. You would think we would have run away with the pres trophy and would easily be coasting to another cup with him on this team. That is not happening. I would rather have two players like Dallas Drake or Clowe than Hossa, on this team. We need a guy like that more than a super star type player.

Jones is right. The ducks are doing what they have to, to win. Whats the problem? Its time for the wings to play 60 min a send them home. Thats the best statement ever. Personally I think the Wings needed that wakeup call. And if they hit snooze they will be playing golf by Saturday.
-
Holy crap. This was the 2nd best team in the east this year?
-
I think this can all be fixed if we have our big D men headhunt near our crease. Getslaughs goal would not have gone in if Ericson Teed off on him.

Lets all just hope tomorrow night around 830pm all these duck "fans" put their Kings gear again, for the next 10 months.
-
Crap, I thought this was a thread started by Pavel to appolgize to us for not showing up this year against the ducks.
-
Bottom line: Ducks will continue this style of hockey till we make them pay for it. We need to score on the PP. We all know the league looks the other way unless you go after one of the darlings of the game. Its simple and Carlyle is smart for doing this. If I were the ducks coach Id do the same thing. What do you expect him to do, tell his guys to go out and skate with the Wings? To try and out play them? That would be a terrible strategy. Instead he tells them to go out and rough it up, muck up the middle and take their chances. Its really pretty simple. Stop talking about this, nothing will come of it. Unless our guys show up tomorrow and play their game, its over. BTW: If I was Babcock I would have claimed Pavel was injured by the cheap shot and annouce he may not be available due to concussion like symptoms, pending a game time decision by the team doctor. Yes this is a dbag move, but is a way to put the wood to the NHL and make them enforce their crazy injury rule. It would also send a message to other teams that if you want to be cheapshot artists, we can be scumbags too.

How about he steps up and makes them pay the only way he is effective? I love how the ducks take our guys out of the game, then beat there ass after the buzzer. Note to our euros, if you dont show up for game time, after the buzzer get off the ice as fast as possible;so you dont embarrass yourself after the game is over.
