I wouldn't be surprised if his career is shortened by his back problems. Since he had those issues he has not been the same player. Still pretty darn good but nowhere near where he was in 08', 09'.

Hockey players are huge pansies anymore. Any time someone catches a hit, they whine cry and act like babies. Then some clown want to be tough guy goes after the guy who made the clean hit. IMO, if someone tries to retaliate for a clean hit they should be ejected under the instigator rule.

Not scoring on the 5-3 and ensuing duck parade to the box last game may just be the difference in this series. We have not done a good job of taking advantage of opportunity, and our D looks like a bunch of monkeys trying t f*** a football out there.

Those poor players, getting paid millions to bang super hot chicks (as many as they want), skate around playing hockey for 15 years and retiring at 40. That must really suck. It's a good thing someone pays them to do this sort of thing. Otherwise, working at Arby's , getting zero ***** and getting sodomized in a bar by a burly Canadian fellow in a restroom at the local watering hole seems like the only alternative. The nly problem I have with is, our D has not been good the last 3 years. Now with the loss of Lids and Stuart, we are a wreck in the back end.

BTW I was the first one to say the Preds out played us this series and am the first to admit when the Wings lose to better teams or just dont play well. That being said, Bettman follows the Michael Jordan effect. He realizes how much money a super star like that can bring in. He just happened to hitch his wagon to a childish joke.

Im not saying your wrong but it would be hard to get any real numbers on the NHL. Its a privately held company. Try to find audited numbers. Basically they can say whatever they want. However if you do decide to look for actual numbers you will find that the integrity of the NHL's numbers have been challenged more than once. Including forbes publicly refuting their numbers on at least one occasion. The Pens remark was in regards to the Miss. Hockey over there. You know the leagues poster girl. Not so much about the Pens as a team. However if you dont think the NHL wants their poster boy to rip off 3 or 4 Cups in a row, well your sadly mistaken. Look how much Gretz helped the league out for years, even after he left Edmonton. Including really opening up the California market when he went to LA.

He has no idea what he is doing and made the league look worse than ever. I have no respect for him or the NHL anymore. Again I think there will be a lockout and will never recover. It still hasnt from the last one, this one I hope will be the end. Let the profitable teams form a league of their own, then Bettman and the bankrupt pens can run a league of schmuck teams.
