defensive zone possession. I know people dont like to see threads that should be in the GDT but..... cmon guys. TWO chances to tie the game in the last 10 min of the game and no goals. Then we need a miracle and get robbed. This team has shown all season they were not built for the playoffs, how many games did we need 4 or more goals to win? You cant win in the playoffs like that. Same problem we get owned down low on the defensive boards, then try to toss the puck out of the zone only to end up down low again. Take a penalty or the puck ends up in the net. This is a culmination of things. Yes the call sucked but so has our powerplay and d zone puck possession ( and no Brian "Turnover" Rafalski wont fix that)

Although Im not a nhl conspiracy guy.... The wings have a huge fan base, them winning the cup again has no up side for the NHL gaining market share outside of the midwest. Cali and east coast = huge up side. Everyone loves to see the Yankees lose too, no?

This is the worst argument for suspension I have ever heard. Totally illogical. If the guy intends to injure then he gets suspened booted and suspended according to the rule. It should make no difference if his intent leads to an injury. By using this logic Todd Bertuzzi should be out of the NHL and Marty M should have been able to keep playing. This makes no sense. The NHL is a joke for this very reason.

So your saying being dependant on 4 or more goals a game is a good thing? Offensively we are really good, but our D is not built for the playoffs. Our D has been struggling all year long.

Whatever happened to the goalie pad size rules? Why does this league just make up rules they never intend to enforce then write more? What are they the federal goverment?

Wish I shared your optimism. This team is worthless 70% of the game, then get jobbed. I think 3 out of 5 is too tall an order for this teamagainst the ducks right now.

One year a goal that went through the side of the net counted. That was the worst call ever, then brett hulls goal for the stars, then probly this one.

What ever happened to the 3rd man in penalty. One year the NHL called them in almost every scrum.

I stand corrected. All internal injuries I have ever seen bleed dark almost black from the mouth.

Other way around. You can learn this in the woods while deer hunting. Its real dark cuz it coagulates really quickly.

That happens all the time. How is Kronwall interfered with and gets a penalty called on him?
