I really think all the anit Weiss talk is a little premature. I get a lot of WIngs fans were not too thrilled with the signing to begin with. But let this guy get healthy and give him an honest chance. This signing can go both ways if you ask me. This isn't like the Franzen deal where we have had a few years to digest and make a choice if we like him or not. I think Weiss can be a very good asset to this team but he has to be healthy and get an honest chance next season. -

I don't disagree that Sproul looked very good for his age. But they are looking for someone on the PP and a top 2 dman. If Holland doesn't land anyone I can see Sproul getting some looks but I doubt you will see him on the PP next year.

I like Miller but I just don't see him being pursued by us. You sign Miller and you take the big cap hit and then you have to move Howard. Chances are you wouldn't get your worth out of that trade. Too risky if you ask me. Also, you sign Miller it still doesn't address our need for a defenseman or a scorer.

Just saying with the amount of times Holland and Babs talked about the need for a RH shot on defense I doubt we don't sign no one. We have some good prospects in the waiting but I still think they will hold them back one more year.

It will keep being repeated over and over and over. Just like Franzen not showing up when the team needs him Over and over and over and over again!

I will always say these post season awards are garbage. Especially the ones that the media or fans vote for. Usually the person that is the most deserving doesn't get it. That's why I totally expect Babs to not get it. People totally discount that he coached a team that players like Dats, Franzen, Z, Alfie, and Weiss missed a total of 172 games combined.

I expect Holland to make a big push this offseason. This will be a push for guys like Kronner, Z, and Dats.

I know a lot of people are looking forward to see what this kid will bring to the organization. But I can see him not becoming a regular for 2 more years. It's Kenny's way!

I honestly was and still hoping Franzen gets bought out. But after Holland's comments he will be here for awhile. In the mean time slide him down to the 3rd line and sign someone we can depend on to be a scoring threat every game.

I say if I am Kenny I would let Bert, Cleary, Alfie, and Q walk. I would also free up more cap space by buying out Franzen. Resign Legwand Sign Niskanen Sign Vanek Sign Ott I think with those additions you address the defense, grit, and scoring. But we know that about only 40-50% of that will probably will happen. I can see us over paying for Q, Franzen back for another year, and I would not be shocked if Cleary is signed for depth.

I really wouldn't mind keeping him on the team but his contract is terrible. He's good for 20+ goals but don't count on him being physical. He played with fire during the 08 season. Maybe a change of scenery would do him good. I don't know about buying him out but I wouldn't mind see if you could try to trade him somewhere.

Surprised no one posted the video of Tatar slamming Chara. Still have a hard time a 6'9 getting taken down to the ice by a guy under 6'.
