I think the 3rd and 4th lines looked pretty good this week. As for the 1st and 2nd line combos are not that good. Babs to shake those lines up because they look out of sync. -
I am not at the point I need to have my stomach tied off. But with my frame and build I could stand to lose around 20 to 30 lbs. It's just since my Marine Corps days I can't spend as much time as I would like in the gym. I want go get healthier but my job and kids prevent that. I want to make the change and I have. So far I lost up to 5lbs this week and my energy level is very high. Still need to workout more but I have started by hitting the rink more.

I like those line combos. I think jurco/sheahan/tatar were playing really well together. Plus, the way Goose has been shooting having Pavs set him up would be beautiful!!! Franzen is way too streaky for my liking. If he would bring more to the table like block shots, make some big hits, or just play good defense I would say put him in the top 6.

Last week I watched a very good documentary. Everyone should check it out. It's call Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. It's about going on a juice fast for 61 days. I haven't started the fasting but the guy who was on the film weighed in at 305 and lost up to 79 lbs in 61 days just by drinking juice. I started to try some of the stuff he had on the film and it's pretty good!

It's going to be tough for them after the news today. Horton is out for 6 weeks. Plus, they are something like 0-7-1 in their last 8 meetings with the Pens.

At this point I don't care. I think we match up best with the Pens but we have played the B's pretty good. I think where this team is at right now. I think the 3rd and 4th lines are playing really well and usually that's what it takes to win in the playoffs. My only concern is being so young we take stupid penalties. When it's all said and done we have just as much as a chance as these other teams.

These coach of the year awards are pretty stupid if you ask me. Most time the most deserving coach never gets the award. Even though I think Babs deserves it, I still think he gets screwed.

I heard it was a shoulder injury but nothing serious.

You have to play these guys. I get we had a lot of injuries but the young guys need the reps. I don't want to sit our key players the last 2 games and they come back out of sync. Had we won more games and clinched earlier I think it would be smart. But these guys have been in playoff mode for over a month now and there's no time to let up on the gas now.

I cheer for other teams when Detroit is out of it. But I still find it very hard to cheer for another team. I live in Columbus and I want to see this city get a good team on the ice but I still have a hell of a time cheering for them ever.

This guy just really needs to focus on recovering from this injury and when the time is right get back into shape. I wish he could of been healthy this year but the kids have been filling in very nicely. -
I still don't think the Bruins make it to the finals.

After Washington's loss tonight that slips their chances to 22%.

Washington has Dallas next. Another playoff bubble team. Hopefully, the Stars take them to the wood shed.

Not everyone does that. You have to remember some teams are still battling for top seeds and also want to go into the playoffs on a high note. It's ok to rest guys but teams like Boston and St. Louis will still play hard.

I can see Babs playing him a few times before the playoffs. Just try to get his legs back. If we finish strong and make the playoffs I can see him sitting out and just waiting for that game or games someone doesn't play up to par.

What I love is all the people that wanted to trade him last offseason. The last 2 years he played well and it doesn't surprise me the success he's having this year.
