With a lot of youth on our roster we have to be careful in not taking bad penalties. I know the Ducks are bigger but I would love see our guys bang them a little bit. Don't back down and play smart. The back can't play lazy because these Ducks are big and fast. GO WINGS!!!

Big win! Thought our defense looked good and the team played with some juice!

I get its a short season and all but I think putting a totally different defensive lineup every game does us no justice. I thought the defense looked good against Nashville and the next game we changed it again.

I just wish we could of kept the same lineup we played against Nashville. The team played desperate in that game and once again Babs changed it. I honestly have never seen a team in a playoff hunt change their lineup so much!

We honestly don't deserve to make the playoffs! I have been a life long Wings fan and I can honestly sit and say from the front office to the 4th line winger we don't act like we want it!

I still don't understand why Babcock changes the lineup every game??? It's no wonder the defense can't ever be on the same page. I honestly feel the Kenny H and Babcock don't want to make the playoffs just because of draft position and maybe having a true reason to do a roster overhaul. Kenny makes zero moves with cap space and Babcock continues to screw with the line combos!!!!

i would at least hope you would think before you speak. first and foremost app st was a no1 team but not in DI, so that one doesn't count. if you are going to say that ND is a quality team to play you should go back to your HS and sue them for failing to giving you the education you rightfully deserved. lets take a hard look at michigans schedule back to 01. 01 the best team on that schedule was washington. 02 once again washington was the only team again. went 10-3 that year 03 PLAYED NOBODY went 10-3 that year 04 PLAYED NOBODY went 9-3 that year 05 PLAYED NOBODY went 7-5 06 PLAYED Oregon their future schedule out of conf. schedule consits of in 09 and 10 all i keep finding is MAC teams. keep telling yourself your programs bad results are from a tough schedule. toledo has scheduled tougher teams then michigan. usc, miami, cal, va tech, cincy, oklahoma, and tenn sounds a lot tougher then ND, eastern michigan, utah, and toledo. it will be funny when those seasons play out too because i can already see Dick rod running the score up like he did at wvu. every michigan fan will be running their mouths about a NC game. till they lose to someone they shouldn't lose to because Dick rod is not a big game coach. don't tell me he is!!! every time he had a chance to win a game to keep wvu undefeated they lost. louisville, south florida, and pitt ring a bell???

i agree they were outplayed against florida. after they beat michigan they acted like their were already champs. lsu game was a little different. bad penalities and bad defensive play. i don't agree ohio state playing zone defense. it's a lazy defense and the only way it will work is if the d line get pressure. not at one point in any of those games did their d line get in the face of the opposing qb. i honestly feel they can play man to man. when they play zone they just sit there and wait for the other team to make mistakes. why did michigan beat florida this past season??? their defense attacked tebow. one thing ohio state has done very well since beating miami back in 02. now, when i said they win the games they should win i meant the MAC schools, the middle and lower tier big ten teams. usc didn't do that in their conf. this year. the blew it against stanford. georgia didn't do that too. they had a terrible showing against tenn. and s carolina. everybody wants the playoff but i only for it if it's done the right way. till then you win every game on your schedule you can state your case at the end of the year. if you're going to lose, then make sure you lose at the right time of the season.

you are right that ohio state had a weak schedule this year. but if you did you homework you would see that next couple years they play usc, then miami, va tech, cincy, oklahoma, and they are trying to still get tenn down the road. that's a team from every almost every BCS conf. they also tried to throw ND in there but it never worked out. i am happy with that because i am sick and tired of watchin OSU embarass ND. bash ohio state all you want but when was the last time any big time program went out of conf. and played an team that caliber. not very many. for their conf. schedule that is out of ohio state's hands. does tress have to start recruiting for michigan, iowa, penn st, illinois, etc!! it's simple OSU has recruited well, they win the games they should, and they have a good coach. let me guess you are going to throw back to back national championship losses in there too. well let's just say the last 2 years there have been 117 DI colleges that wished they could have a little taste of success ohio state has had. i am willing to bet that in one of those years your team was in that category.

wow!! things have changed so quickly. every michigan fan i met was confident pryor was going there. now, that he's not they start bashing the kid. way to represent UofM!!!! now i can see why he picked OSU over UofM. oh yeah, the next excuse OSU bought him off!!! ha ha keep making excuses for your football program. i keep hearing more about michigan excuses then winning football games. no wonder your program went from the elite to losing to App St!!! you all think RR was the answer!! keep telling yourselfs that when you keep getting owned by your rival. believe me it will continue to happen!!
