Everyone on this board is underestimating the wings. It seems like the majority of this board feel like we won't make the playoffs. Well guess what guys, our injured players will be returning sooner than later, and then we will begin to win games like we used to. I'm sorry but when your top 6 consists of names like, Eaves, Leino, Miller, Helm and even Bertuzzi and Holmstrom then things are hurting. We will continue to lose hockey games until we get healthy players back. Every game we win until then is a miracle, and should be savored.

We have injuries? I thought we brought in guys like Eaves, Miller, Abdelkader etc to be main point producers/ power play specialists.

I believe Abdelkader can be our next Steve Yzerman with the proper coaching and guidance. He has all the tools to be the teams future leader with an offensive upside of 130-150 pts a year....from what i've seen from him so far this season, I expect him to go on a 45 game point streak and finish with around 70-75 points. I would be surprised if he didn't crack 120 points next year and win the rocket richard and hart trophies.

All I really have to say after that game is, Jimmy Howard has EARNED the right to be the starter. The team is better when he plays and I am much more confident when he plays. Keep Jimmy in net, damn has he improved he is becoming very solid

Ville Leino- 3 ******* points last 17 GP Todd Bertuzzi- 1 A last 8 GP Tomas Holmstrom- Pointless in 7 These 3 are expected offensively and have been ******* useless. I am so upset with Ville Leino....he's on pace for 17 points. What a dissapointment. Obviously no one has been good lately offensively but I'm worred with Datsyuk, we all know he doesn't have the right linemates but he should still be able to be netting points either on the PP or by himself... Someone needs to step up tommorow!!!!!!!! Also I like Jimmy Howard more than Chris Osgood this season. I feel much more confident with Howard, kinda sad. We're in trouble here boys.

I really wish that Datsyuk would pick it up and obviously the whole team for that matter. Not a single highlight reel goal from Datsyuk yet this season makes me sad

These last 2 games have been a joy to watch, keep up the good work Red Wings. Nothing to complain about here, team was coming off back to back and grinded out a solid victory. Even though they didn't dominate the whole game they hung in there and a win is a win. Major props to Jimmy Howard, I and many others have had serious doubts about this kid but there is simply no denying he has been solid in these last 2 games (especially tonight he was SPECTACTULAR!). And one more thing, sick goal by Zetterberg. Haven't seen him do something so special in a long time.

lol my cousin Mike Santorelli scored his 2nd goal of the season last night and is tied with Pavel Datsyuk in goals scored. Come on Pavel Datsyuk, you and Zetterberg have to produce like the superstars you are!

everybody did suck last night. Anyone else notice how bad Rafalski has been for us on the powerplay this year? I honestly believe he misses the net on over 80% of his shots. He has had so many quality chances to blast one home and he always misses. Even Lidstrom has been doing this alot it's pretty iritating. Datsyuk really needs to start scoring again, Zetterberg too and I think we will be ok. Also, Chris Osgood lets in so many weak goals five hole it's a joke

That was easily the most boring period of red wings hockey I have ever watched. We look like A Phoenix Coyotes/bottom feeder team out there. Pretty much zero offense and nothing is clicking. On a side note, what the f*** is wrong zetterberg?

As long as Datsyuk and Zetterberg each score a goal in the third, I will be happy. I need to know these guys can still put the puck in the ******* net. Going back to last playoffs, it's got to have been more than 10 games since either of these two have done something offensively.
