Agreed. Also, this game is almost painful to watch because I can't decide who I want to win. So instead of ever getting excited that a team might score, I just flinch with nerves.

Fairly new here. Thought I'd share a pic or two of my happiness after the game last night. Just after getting home from the Pepsi Center. I was "dragged" out to the bar after getting home. No worries, I was wearing Wings sweatpants, and I took advantage of every opportunity to rub the sweep into everyone's face.

We actually saw an Avs fan in a Forsberg jersey going through a sobriety test on I-25 last night after the game. Talk about salt into the wound.

Would have done the same, except for the netting. Didn't even think about the netting being in the way until the hat trick happened. My friend actually brought two extra hats because he said he had a feeling.

Yeah, I feel like I know a few clowns who would have no problem doing it. Especially after a few beers. And, I'd love for the snow to stop. Anytime now.

That's terrible! I'm glad to see Avs fans (or at least the ones who have posted on that thread) seem to agree.

What the eff is Heidi Montag doing on Letterman?? Behind the Avs, she just might be the most embarrassing thing to come from Colorado.

I feel bad for saying I lost all respect for Avs fans because you obviously don't deserve to be grouped with the bunch of idiotic assholes I saw last night. You know what was almost more disturbing than their behavior? The Avs fans in our section that started cheering, rather loudly, for the Wings during the last 60 seconds of the game. I mean, yeah, I didn't see a shred of hope left for the Avs. But I also do not claim to be an Avs fan. Maybe it's just my grandpa's blood in me (my 80-year-old grandfather has not missed a Packer game at Lambeau field ever, no matter how cold and no matter how horrible the team was), but I don't understand how fans can abandon their team so quickly.

I've had my tickets for awhile now (& I'm ignoring my masochistic urge to check stubhub to see how cheap I could have gotten them :nopity:). It would be fantastic to see the Pepsi Center even more full of Wings fans than it was for Game 3. Plus, nothing seems to annoy Avs fans more than realizing their "Go home!" taunts are for nought since native Coloradoans are few & far between. As evidenced by the following conversation I overhead while waiting for my hot dog & beer: Avs fan 1: Dude, why are there so many Wings fans here? Avs fan 2: Dude, I think it's like why there were so many Cubs fans at the Cubs/Rockies series. When's the last time you met someone who was born and raised here? Avs fan 1: Dude! You're right! f*** them! f*** all the transplants! Go home you ******* transplants! Avs fan 2: Dude! You're an *******! I grew up in St. Louis! Anyway, looking forward to a sea of red & white. Or at least a Great Lake of red & white. And maybe an octopus or two...? Oh! Where's everyone sitting? We'll be in section 112, row 20, 5 & 6.

You're not kidding. Last night I watched a male Avs fan shove a female Wings fan three times as a good half of their section cheered him on. I'm sorry, I don't care if she called you out on your small penis or laughed at your Forsberg jersey, you never ever ever touch a woman like that. I've seen the ugly fights that break out at the United Center after a Wings/Hawks game, but never anything like that. I know I shouldn't judge an entire fan base on the actions of several individuals, and I'm sure there are Wings fans I'd rather not have representing our fan base, but I lost any respect I had left for Avs fans last night. Their excuses are becoming epic, too. As we were leaving the Pepsi Center, I heard a guy ask his friend if he thought the Wings play with illegally long sticks.
