To all of you who have little or no prior dealings with Micah here is the run down: 1) He bad mouths the Wings every chance he gets trashing them in almost every post and 2) If he is miraculously not trashing the Wings (players, coaches, or management) he is bragging on himself, telling everyone how great he is, and saying that he is better/smarter/richer than everyone else. If you keep these two rules in mind you don't really even need to read his posts because 99% of the time one of those two rules will cover it.

The playoffs are supposed to be epic battles between elite teams. If none of the remaining teams have elite goaltenders then none of the remaining teams are elite teams. Detroit may come the closest to elite status, but they fail with Chris Osgood in net. The fan is cheated. Fans don’t get to see epic playoff battles between elite teams anymore because the NHL structure prevents the formation of elite teams. This makes absolutely no sense. If the teams remaining are not elite teams then what happened to the elite teams? They had to have been beaten by one of the remaining teams (or one of the teams that was then beat by one of the remaining teams), so this guy is saying that teams that are not elite teams beat teams that are elite teams? I'm not sure that he knows what elite means since none of the teams that he would classify as elite could even make it to the conference finals much less the Stanley Cup Finals.

What is a "bight bulb" (you should be more careful when you are trying to insult someone). Mark Twian's quote "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt" seems especially applicable when you are trying to be rude and insult someone.

I don't hate the Hawks or any of their players. I hate the Ducks more than any other team and hate most of their players. The thing is I'd hate the most of the Ducks players no matter who they play for because they cheapshot, goon up on smaller guys, intend to injure other players, and then whine after the game. I like most all of the Hawks players and when they aren't playing against the Wings root for them because of how they play.

Nobody calls you much of a fan at all.

It was a joke - he was mocking LGW posters saying that if Lilja was one of the posters here or like them he would have said that - it was intended as a jest.

I know some here trash the Wings as being boring and no one liking to watch their style of play but I guess that quite a few people still like to see them play. Blackhawks/Red Wings Game 1 drew an impressive 2.0/5 overnight rating on NBC Sunday afternoon, up 18% from a 1.7/4 for Flyers/Penguins Game 5 on the comparable date last year, and the highest overnight rating for an NHL telecast on broadcast -- excluding the Stanley Cup Finals and the Winter Classic. The local numbers were even better: Chicago = 7.7/19 Detroit = 16.9/38 Edit: Hopefully this will lead to more/better sponsors and a higher cap!

And make sure the Wings aren't part of the 10.7%

No it wasn't a fluid topic, it was specifically about the TELEVISION ratings for one specific game. The topic was not about arena attendance for the season or the playoffs and had absolutely nothing to do with whether or not you could buy crack in Detroit. You are just unable to not dump bitterness and negativity even when it is irrelevant.

Yeah I agree that there is no requirement that a person have manners online it is just a sad insight into a person when they have none but like you said there is no requirement that you act mature or decent online so sadly this is what you end up with and what you have put up with. If you want to have a decent discussion on this site you have to wade through some of the crap but luckily Micah is the exception rather than the rule here. No problem, it happens some times and anyway I don't really consider that you derailed it, Micah did by needlessly ripping on Detroit and they you defended your city, perfectly understandable.

No, I just try to start a thread congratulating the Wings, Blackhawks, and the NHL that the ratings were so good and like usual you tag along afterward and spew bilge about how horrible something is (that is irrelevant to the original topic) just because you have the inability to refrain from whining and moaning because something doesn't happen to be exactly like you in your finite wisdom think that it should be. But yeah, I manage to find you on the thread I created.

I agree there is no excuse for the bad PK the Wings have had. It is even more puzzling considering how good they have been when they are down on a 5 on 3.

I wouldn't worry about him too much. If you go back and read through his posts almost none of them are positive, encouraging, or complimentary of the Wings organization, its players, its management or the city of Detroit at all. I am pretty sure he is a 13 year old fan of some other team who just comes to flame. He is always bragging about himself and bashing everything about the Wings (just look at his Avatar. He knows what he is doing, makes a habit out of being rude and condescending, and it's sad that he has to get on the internet to feel tough and get his jollies.

I saw the post game interviews and Fleury said he didn't think the stick was knocked out of his hands by a stick but basically it was accidentaly knocked loose by players but he thought it was moved away from him after that and maybe there should have been a penalty when it was moved away.

My grandparents took us in an RV all the way down to Disney World when I was a kid, there was a VCR on the RV and my cousin watched that movie non-stop almost the whole trip and he says inconceivable about 20 time in that movie so I heard it probably a thousand times. Has always stuck with me since then.

Humorous that you you say I am following you, if you will notice I started this thread and I had 3-4 posts here before you even commented, I guess if anything you are following me. Worst analogy ever aside - Um, I'm not sure you know what context means. If you will see the post I was responding to Jake didn't ask "why would anyone say the Wings are boring in the playoffs. They are the most exciting team in hockey in the playoffs." He unequivocally stated: Based upon his question (and the fact that it was not a question about the playoffs but about the Wings in general), I provided direct quotes of you ripping on the Wings and calling them boring. You came along and took both his question and my answer out of context and pretended like the question was about the playoffs when it was nothing of the sort. I can't help it if you hate the way the Wings play and then love the way that they play - that is your issue to work out, I was merely giving him an example of someone who bashes the Wings and calls them boring. Nice try to twist the truth to fit your made up facts though. Edit: underline
