My favorite part of the broadcast was when Pierre was proclaiming that the Hawks have closed the gap with the Wings since the Winter Classic. Ok, they've closed the gap when we rest some of our best players -

It's painfully obvious that none of the Wings really cares about this game. Just dump it in and avoid injuries for the rest of the game and it's a win for us. -

Funny thing is, they didn't have him technically "touch" the octopus; he used his stick. They no better than to have him pick it up and toss it. Already being inside your opponents head is a fantastic advantage.

Those are strong words from a team that has sucked against the Wings this year. Funny thing is, after he threw it off, he skated away very fast... almost like he was scared or something...
