The call was stupid because if Holmstrom prevented him from making any save, it would have been a low shot. If his stick wasn't there at all it would have allowed Fluery to the ice faster. The goal was scored high so it didn't matter. Stupid call by the refs to try and get the Pens some momentum

Yeah, I don't know why this is news; I skated on this stuff over 6 years ago so it's not like it is a new invention.

For the record, Monster cables are not worth the money. You can get a decent HDMI cable for less than $20. However, you don't need one of those for an HD connection. Component cables work just as well because DirecTV and most cable companies only send a 1080i signal, not 1080p. The only time high quality cables come into play is if you have your cable box/DVD player/etc about 20+ feet away from your TV; signal will come into play. However, most people don't have that setup; and if you DO have that setup, you can probably afford to spend $90+ on a cable. I have a 42" Toshiba Regza 1080p w/ a 7.1 Onkyo Sound system. HD is the best; I'll never go back.

What is funny is that the NBA already had the Eastern Conference Finals scheduled before the NHL schedule came out? Even a simple economist would say to maximize the gain, put the games at different times; that way both the NBA and NHL benefit.
