Last year I think it took about 2 - 3 weeks for them to refund my credit card. I had Stanley Cup tickets to game 5. So, ticketmaster makes money even if the games are never played.

Actually most teams are more than capable of knocking off any team in a 7 game series. The question is whether or not it will be forced to a game 7... highly unlikely

Difference is you can beat the crap out of those hockey players for doing so; in basketball, you'd be suspended for over half of a season for that.

Actually they do sell out; the Red Wings staff can't force the season ticket holders to show up. Nor can they resell a ticket halfway through the 1st if the seat isn't filled. The problem isn't selling the tickets.

yeah; there's no way they'd get exposure otherwise. Can't play on the west coast cause Bettman wouldn't allow it; he'd make all the games start before 6P Pacific time so that the Eastern side of the US could see the star players.

Sorry, there's no way that was a penalty. He got the puck first; clearly shown in the replay. Nice defensive play. Stupid play on the Flyers part; had a guy wide open coming behind him, should have passed it off.
