I for one am glad Forsberg did not come to Detroit. I would have been ashamed to have him wear the Winged Wheel. I was getting sick of watching him last night. He whines more than any player when he gets a penalty i.e. he committed a blatant interference call and would not shut up. He was pinned against the boards and flopped down and drew a penalty. I'll be cheering the day he finally leaves the NHL for good and rids us of watching his candy ass play. -

Yeah, that's gonna be the game of the night in my mind. Caps can tie the Canes in points with a win. Caps will have 2 more home games after that. Should be a great ending to the regular season

I find it funny that some announcers say "fair pole" and others say "foul pole". Because the foul pole is in fair territory... wierd

I don't have a problem with Versus showing the Pittsburgh vs New York game tonight. The only other game to choose from is Atlanta vs Tampa Bay. Wow, there is a tough decision.

I just don't like Versus because hockey is only on when a hockey game is on or some commentary. Unlike ESPN, they don't have the Versus News network. When ESPN had the NHL you could switch to that and see highlights of games that night or the next day. The only time I see highlights now is when Versus does their Top 10 or I watch them online. Versus is not a complete sports network.

I don't remember anyone saying there shouldn't be sponsors on the boards or that arenas shouldn't have a corporate name. Imagine if the Wings got a new arena: GoDaddy! Arena. Oh the possibilities

No kidding; people say what a great spokesman for the game he is. Obviously they've never seen him play. Cheap shot artist who resorts to trying to injure someone when his team is losing near the end of a game. To the topic at hand: I've never bet on any hockey games or done any sort of gambling. Waste of money in my mind.

No kidding, especially since every time the Wings have lost in the playoffs the last few years, they've faced a hot goaltender. Ellis could potentially be that goaltender. I don't think it's wise to pick who we'd rather face.

I thought the surprise was going to be that they were not going to cover hockey anymore. :-( Now I'm disappointed. Oh well, eventually I hope Versus gives up and lets ESPN have it back.

It's funny watching and realizing all of the penalties that would be called in today's game; the hooking, holding, interference penalties. I miss the old NHL...
