I loved how he said he would never do it again. Please, he just said that so the suspension wouldn't be as much. Jonathon Roy didn't get enough games. He should have gotten 10+.

Let me get this straight. Roy's son beat the crap out of a goalie who didn't even want to fight and gave the crowd the finger and he gets 7 games and the player he fought 2nd got 6 games for coming out of the box? I understand coming out of the box is not supposed to happen, but come on. Yes, I'm talking about playoff games. Nothing is better than watching Daniels and Redmond announce a game. I wish they could do it throughout the playoffs.

I'm pumped; I cannot wait until the playoffs start. Only downside is watching the games on Versus with the crappy announcers, but it's better than nothing I guess

Amen to that. I don't mind winter so much, but I hate getting teased by some nice days, then snow... it's really quite depressing

Personally I'm not a fan of no-touch icing. I like the hustle for the loose puck; these guys are professionals and they know how to go for an iced puck without getting injured. The way to stop the injuries is to penalize/suspend the player for making an illegal hit. However, I do think that if no touch icings were instituted that the number of icings would go down. If the score is close at the end of the game with a few seconds remaining, players are less likely to toss it down the ice if the clock is going to stop as soon as it crosses the line as opposed to waiting for the player to touch the puck.

Thank God there are no shootouts in the playoffs; they have no advantage without that.

The Power Rankings are McKeon's rankings of the teams. The theme this week is backup goaltenders. The teams aren't rated by best goalie situation, how well they've been playing. The teams are ranked, then he looks at the goalie situation. At least that is my understanding. I agree it is a stupid way of doing it
