I vote for kicking him to the curb. I don't see any positives, but I think everyone can list a ton of negatives. Definitely can't afford those mistakes during playoffs. Lilja needs to hit the road.

McCarty had a fight the previous night and kicked the guy's ass. The guy tried to hold McCarty's jersey so he wouldn't be able to do anything and McCarty just shrugged it off and blasted the guy with several blows to the face. Couple games earlier he knocked some guy's tooth out. I'd say he's still got some fight left in him.

Pierre is a dick. I change the channel when he starts commenting. All he ever says is how the Wings can't cut it and how much he wants to be under Burke's desk to administer a BJ. Seeing on TradeCenter yesterday was ridiculous. "Montreal is gonna do something big, mark my words". Yeah, they dumped their goaltender... wow, that was huge. Thank you for the prediction. Nothing would please me more than for the Wings to knock out the Ducks and hear Pierre stammer through excuses as to why the Ducks didn't win.

Personally, I think we easily have a shot at the Cup with everyone healthy. The only reason we didn't win last year was because of injuries. My question is this; if we do not win this year, does anyone feel that we need a coaching change? I only ask because it seems like we have had some of the most talented teams the last few years and the one constant through it all has been Babcock. I was just wondering if anyone thinks this.

No, ESPN treated the NHL way better than Versus. At least ESPN had NHL2Night on every night. If you want some highlights from Versus, you have to watch a game and then wait for the intermissions. ESPN gave the NHL a low offer because it deserved a low offer. The lockout just ended and prior to the lockout, ESPN was getting better ratings for the World Poker Tour, than for NHL games. Bettman's treatment of the league is why the current NHL coverage is poor.
