Canucks are a boring team to watch, i'd rather attach jumper cables to my balls then watch them play unless its against the Wings in which case im not going to the game. Canucks wont be in the playoffs this year, they suck. Which is why im so frustrated with the effort or lack of it tonight.

Bottom Line = we lost to a bunch of noobs, the Sedin's were horrible and gave us chances to score more goals but we looked at about 8% of our potential. Mason Raymond Alex Burrows, seriously? Doesn't it feel good to win a game because of the goaltending? We dont see that too much with the Wings because of the stellar D and top-notch backchecking of our forwards. Game by game we get more into form, better to win a goaltending duel then to lose it.

Really impressed with Conklin, we did still outshoot the Hurricanes and Ward was on his game tonight. It was a goaltending match tonight, we could look better but the Canes played us pretty hard and Ward played well. Holmer is off to a sexy start.

The Leafs had nothing to lose in that game, if they lost 10-0 no one would have said anything because it was almost expected but if they won it would be a huge confidence boost for the players and their season. That team has no superstar players except for maybe Toskala and Kaberle but besides that its a bunch of young guys with nothing to lose and they played their asses off. The Red Wings didn't play until it was 2-0 and they looked disinterested in the game for the most part. 81 games to go, we got the first loss out of the way, despite only playing about 17-18 minutes of hockey in that game we still outshot the Leafs and if not for a couple of brainfarts we win the game. It's good to lose this one especially to the Leafs because it shows the Wings that they have to play 100% every game because every team will have a little extra motivation to play the defending champs.

Still 81 games to go but it does not feel good to have Toronto as one of your losses, its like seriously but like it was mentioned you couldnt notice Hank and Datsyuk out there. They didn't even play hockey until it was 2-0 but i wasnt even really mad, upset but not mad, the Leafs have so little and they will not be in the playoffs so i guess they can enjoy this win.

Even Boston wasnt going apes*** like the habs fans and they beat us in regulation not a SO.

Watched the 3rd period and i got chills when i seen Yzerman and Shanahan celebrating the clinching empty net goal, Hasek jumping around, Robitaille, it just brought back memories from not too long ago. Hopefully Fischer decides to come back one day.

somebody to drop the mitts, this move is meh, Thought that Vancouver picking up Jason Krog from the AHL was more worthy of a thread, Krog had 112 points in the AHL last season. Didn't know why he went down to the AHL he always looked like a serviceable 3rd-4th line player.
