Hopefully Downey can play the "Probert Role" for us this year, as much as I love Mac, Downey is younger and willing to scrap day in day out. (im hoping they both stay) Probert was the man in that video, great stuff. No one touches the Legend that is Steve Yzerman. That uppercut on Barrasso lol oh man just pure comedy.

dont know much about the new guy but Coliaccovo is a good offensive minded D-man i like his play i think he will be in the mix as well as Stralman liked what i saw from him last season
-
I thought Ersberg was amazing for LA in that last quarter of the season, Ersberg #1 and Bernier as the backup, thats a good pair of goalies for the KIngs
-
apparently if McCabe doesnt waive the no trade clause they will ruin his career making him the 7th-D man if he doesnt perform to his salary i like this move by the leafs, we play them early in the season its the first hockey night in Canada of the season, should be good.

Speaking of Phoenix, McGratten just signed with them, 1-year i believe, the Coyotes are making a goon squad.
-
I said they should have hockey weather year round meaning alot of ppl play it or they just know hockey, either or would do, thats why i didnt mention Phoenix as a team to relocate cuz they have a good fanbase, i agree on Hamilton, Winnipeg would sell out every game now. As for Saskatoon, Regina and Halifax, a guy can dream cant he?
-
Re-locate Nashville, Florida, Carolina and Atlanta to; Winnipeg Regina or Saskatoon Halifax or Fredricton cuz either way in a major Canadian city games will sell out in the U.S, maybe Milwaukee, Seattle, Somewhere in Maine, Hartford, at least make it places that know hockey and they have weather for it.

if they pair him and Mikko Koivu on the same line they will put up decent numbers

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=242412&...s=headlines_nhl not a bad little pickup
-

Atlanta Thrashers sign UFA defenceman Ron Hainsey to a five-year, $22.5 million contract. www.tsn.ca

Whitney is good he didnt play too well because he lacked experience in the playoffs, Gonchar is still top10 in the league, Scuderi is decent and Sydor is good veteran D-man that i thought played well when he finally got to play in the finals. Hall Gill is useless and Letang is young and will only get better. I can see them adding Bouwmeester to this lineup.

the goaltending is in no trouble, their D looks decent, Staal will have to play a much bigger role this season for them and i can see them picking up 2 forwards, not high profile guys.

Kenny is coming up after the break Fan590

^^^ Nobody wants to play with a "Captain" that ******* and moans about every game he loses. They want someone that takes responsibility and gets his team on track instead of making excuses.

After this season headline = "Finger finds no pulse in Toronto"
