Theodore wasnt their problem tonight we were the better team, im just glad he's not standing on his head but Theodore did have a solid game, the majority of the goals were tipped, Huds came close to sealing it with that post but the goalies didnt have a chance on most of the goals, either tips or out of position. Ozzie's only weak goal was brunette's 2nd goal which was a rebound of a bad angle shot from Sakic but the Defense gave Ozzie no help. Overall solid game from the Wizard of OZ. it might be the alcohol but i was calm, not completely, but more calm then usual for a 1 goal win. i came home we were down 1-0 and then the Wings just turned it on, we took some bad penalties which gave the avs a fighting chance but we locked down defence wise and that last minute they didnt get 2 seconds in our end, way to go boys. Avs dont stand a chance against that intensity we brought in the 1st last game, they got 2 back because we stopped playing its hard to keep up that level of intensity when you look at the score and your up 3 goals. 3 goal lead is the most dangerous lead in hockey, that is why the Avs got 2 back, we let up its hard to keep up that kind of intensity when you look at the scoreboard and have a comfortable lead, if it stayed 3-1 we would've kept pressuring and it would've ended 5-1 or 5-2. Going into the 3rd i felt confident it was different then last game because of the goal we scored i just felt like the win was coming our way. This time we shut down the preds in the 3rd and played Detroit-D, Osgood what more can i say just OSGOOD.
