I agree, Ducks were fortunate against us in the playoffs last year, i feel we more lost to ourselves with errors coming at the worst possible moments.

Good start to the playoffs for our boys. We outplayed them, we deserved the win, Ellis was nashville's best players because if he wasnt this game would be done in the 2nd. Z was awesome, Franzen continues his play into the post season, Hasek did what he needed to do. All around a great performance and win. I'll be at game 2. LOL, I heard the Preds forums are going crazy about the ref'ing claiming they got cheated lol at that, No Comment. GO WINGS!!!

I thought the Stars/Ducks series was a toss up and i thought it would be close games but 4-0. Stars are hungry and the ducks haven won last year might not want it as bad. I guess if you lose 2-1 or 10-0 doesnt matter in the playoffs in the end its only 1 game.

Some players are built for the playoffs, Roberts, Yelle, Clowe all had great games. Not really superstars but players that play hard nose and this is the time of the year that this kind of play pays off the most. I predicted Mikko Koivu would be a beast in the playoffs, the wild lost game 1 but he had 1g 1a so im not too far off. Roberts knows what to do in the playoffs and i love that he still drops the mitts, hats of to him.

That division is bad but if u think about it the Caps are trying to knock off another divisional team to get that spot so its not like they are taking it from a team with more points, lets say the division winners werent given the top 3 seeds then the Caps would still be trying to knock Carolina from the 8th seed. Either way i would like to see Ovechkin in the playoffs.

My thoughts exactly, he plays like you expect a young hungry kid to play.

Maybe trying some guys out to see who can hang. Hopefully Kope is alright but it looks like a long shot. Injuries are a part of the game, if he doesn't make the playoffs lets hope someone can step up and play a role.

Good job on another Presidents Trophy, time to rest some players while we do have injuries good thing it isn't star players be thankful for that. Abra-Kadabra was great tonight he could fill a spot. Stuart should be back shortly, its that time of the year boys lets play to our potential and the rest will work itself out.

He brings what you expect "youth" for a hockey club should. He should be in before Hartigan no more to say there, as for putting him ahead of McCarty playoffs are a different story, Mac knows what needs to be done in the post season but with our recent injuries hopefully we see both of them.

Oh those poor hawks fans, yes you won the season series but what did it get you? Going into Red Wings forums and bragging, smh. If the Wings swept the hawks this season series there wouldn't be any wings fans in hawks forums bragging because those games are a big deal to you while we don't consider you a rival. The Red Wings are at the top so everyone is going to try their best against them its understandable but you have to realize Detroit isn't at there best every night they have nights off and a couple of those happened to be against Chicago. Don't get me wrong Chicago is a future contender in 2-5 years, Toews and Kane will backbone the team but why would you brag about anything when you're in 9th place? I guess getting something after years and years and years....... and years of agony you were given a small glimmer of hope, got an erection, completely spazzied and decided to share your thoughts on this little bright spot in a Wings forum instead of staying in a Hawks forum were you can talk with other Hawks fans. You won the season series but yet your still angry, huh, and need to curse and scream about the Wings why is that?
