Bettman looks at hockey as a product not a sport. Why do you think teams like Carolina, Tampa and Anahiem have won the latest cups? Its just to expand a fan base. The Wings are not in Bettman's market expansion and therefore will get the short end of the stick when it comes to calls like this. Maybe im just paranoid but i think there is some corruption in this league.

I never join forums but i need support because i've completely lost it. Somebody tell me it's going to be alright, im so demoralized right now. I know we'll get back on track when players start to come off the IR but Grand Rapids would have been able to beat Edmonton. The Oilers are a bunch of mutts in NHL's sewer and they managed to win because like usual we make another bum goaltender look like a 93' Patrick Roy, WTF! I know the Oilers were thanking Jesus, Buddha, Allah and Krishna that they made it to the SO because we were pounding them and im sure since a Peewee team has as much of a chance in a SO as an NHL team they were confident. Ozzie played great but once again we cannot put pucks in the net, i know 3 is a step up from our 0 or 1 which has been the case lately but i could score on Garon give me a ******* break (im serious give me a breakaway on this useless turd and i'll light him up).

I think Detroit has a way about them in molding guys into being the best they can be. Cleary would an example of this. I know not all players get it together in Detroit but im very optimistic about B-Rad.

Ya i dont follow the GR team all i heard was that he got a hat trick so i figured he has been playing really well.

I heard Carts has been tearing it up for Grand Rapids, I know it's not the NHL but if he's scoring goals there and skating very well then he should be a great fit for the 3rd or 4th line. I think he's going to be a real spark for the team.

Although we are in a slump this is good experience for these young guys that would usually get >13 or even no minutes. I really like Meech he jumps in the play alot and i havent seen him get caught so he is covering both aspects of his game.

I know how Edmonton is in SO and like i said i was venting but you had to state the obvious i know Garon is a good goaltender but the fact is whoever the Wings play i will talk s*** about.

I like that analysts are ruling out the Wings. This may be just what we need for motivation. The losing streak could be a blessing in disguise, ppl start to think the Wings are falling off and then POW! Right in the Kisser.

Im happy we didnt pick up Hossa or any other "big name" for that matter because we would've had to give up prospects/draft picks and possibly Kopecky or Hudler, maybe both. This keeps the team together and lets them know that management has confidence in them.

Yes i know, this is mostly just frustration pouring out. I've missed maybe 3-4 games this season so im up on it. They do at times make soft goalies look good. Im just venting and i never get at the Wings like this and i don't like when other Wings fans do but this game just hit a spot and i had a moment.

Stuart can wear the # 007 and change his last name to Bond for all I care. I know he is a wing now I take him in with open arms. He is a perfect fit, big boy who likes the physical side of the game, not a big pts. guy but he does what needs to be done.
