They played well but once again look like a team that doesn't know how to score. Crawford is giving up plenty of rebounds.

There was no fight or energy it really looked like a regular season game. Wings didn't show up from the 2nd on and the Hawks just took what was there. If the Wings played like that against any team left in the playoffs they would have lost. The Wings are way better than that game and the effort will be much better Saturday.

I would usually rip the Wings for a performance like this... 20 minutes of pretty good play followed by the laziest 40 minutes i have seen in a while but I know they are much better and the team from games 6 and 7 against the Ducks was not the team that played tonight. This was just a matter of the Hawks being fresh and the Wings being very tired off of a long 1st round series. To be honest wasn't even impressed with the Hawks considering how bad the Wings played. That game looked like a regular season game. Wings looked better in that 4-0 loss to the Ducks.

The last time we saw the Hawks guys like Abdelkader, Nyquist and Franzen were not playing like they have in the playoffs and Zetterbeard and Datsyuk are in full post season beast mode.

Wings had two 3rd period collapses in this series but saved them with OT magic. Let's hope they now have those 3rd period cramps out of their system but keep the magic.

Wings lost that game and most likely the series off of the worst 5 minute PP i have ever seen in my life. Up 2-1 have a chance to really take control and they play it so bad that it completely turns around and they lose the game. Down 3-2 in the series and not looking good at all at least the rookies got some experience but when you look that bad on a 5 minute PP you deserve to lose the series that is not playoff hockey.
