not what i was getting at just saying tonight the Wings have showed a poor effort and are getting outplayed i would take this Wings team in a playoff series any day over the Stars but tonight Wings deserve to lose

The Stars have been the better team tonight, Wings showed a little more effort tonight then they did against the Hawks which isnt too hard since that was zero effort but the Stars are also a much better team then the Hawks. Wings will be lucky to pull out a point tonight.

2 goal lead with less then 5 would pretty much seal it and that situation would not have occurred but yes i would say equally as fail

According to CBC's hockey night in Canada Maybe we can trade straight up for Hudler. I think he would be a great fit here. Thoughts? Opinions?

ok... nothing wrong with the officiating tonight, they let it go both ways, and the high stick was automatic, no complaints i hope its like that every night except maybe the Wings play hockey

Basking in one regular season win when the Wings were visibly uninterested in the game... typical Hawks fan, enjoy it. Im thinking Cup im not thinking about one regular season win. GO WINGS!

I it makes anyone feel any better the Wings would not have beat any team in the NHL tonight playing the way they did. Barely even got the weekend started and its already ruined. Thank you Red Wings.

I think the 4th line will win this game for us. They work so hard every game i just feel its time that it pays off for them and the secondary scoring gets us the W in this one. Helm x 2 Cleary Empty netter 3-1 Wings final -

Montreal ran the 3rd period but i guess they had to play that way to comeback while the Wings were just trying to shut them down. Howard really responded, Datsyuk was brilliant as always. Go Wings!
