I think the positive from this game for Chicago is that they are only down 1 game, they lost bad but in the end they are down 1 game in the series like they were against the Preds. But i said this before Nucks are the best looking team in the playoffs thus far.

Im optimistic too despite the loss. Wings had one day of rest after a game 7. They came out flat and the Sharks took advantage. If not for Setoguchi diving and the refs blowing that call. Shouts out to everyone that was staying positive about the Wings in this thread after game 6. Way to believe and have faith in knowing that the Wings will do what they do.

With all the talk about Lidstrom on 97.1 today... im so glad he shut up all the fairweather fans that were calling him old and tired and saying he should retire Any sane person knows an athlete will eventually slow down as they get older but Lidstrom can still be a top 20 d-man in the league for at least 2-3 years because of his God given ability and even then i hope he keeps playing maybe not in the first pairing but as long as he feels he can help this team i want him playing... 2 goals tonight... 25 minutes played... eff ya Nick EFF YA!
